Central Florida Professor's Lecture Lifts Veil On Islamist Agenda - CAIR Pressures Univ. to Investigate

Posted by Brian

An enlightening lecture by Central Florida University Associate Professor, Dr. Jonathan Matusitz on the challenges Western society faces, culturally and ideologically, with Islamism, and the danger of appeasement and caving to the demands of groups like CAIR and ISNA. He also points out the dangers of our federal government embedding known members of the Muslim Brotherhood as "advisors" to the White House, the Pentagon, DHS, etc.  It is putting the fox in the henhouse.

Predictably, the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) protests that Dr. Matusitz is spreading misinformation while providing no proof of their accusations.  One of their protestations is of the Professor saying Germany will be an Islamic Republic by 2050 due to Muslim immigration and birthrates, calling it a "bizarre" claim.  This so-called "bizarre" claim is backed up by immigration and birth statistics, AND is echoed by none other than German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

An excellent lecture, with Q&A session following.  Well worth the time to watch when you have the time. Share liberally.

Flashback: Black Chamber Of Commerce President Accuses Barbara Boxer of Racism

Posted by Brian

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) had her condescending line of questioning to Black Chamber of Commerce, President and CEO Harry Alford thrown right back in her face.

During a hearing on Green Energy, Boxer felt it pertinent to enter into the record a resolution on green energy from the NAACP, being that Harry Alford is black, don't you know.

An indignant Alford immediately called her on her obvious attempt at racial politics, calling it "God awful".

You might also enjoy:

The exchange is pure political fireworks, as Boxer attempts smooth things over by entering another document by yet another black group.

MUST WATCH! Black Leaders say Gun Control is Really "Black Control" [VIDEO]

Posted by Brian

A story completely ignored by the media (what a shock!).

On February 25th, a large group of African-American leaders held a press conference at the National Press Club, articulating their support for the 2nd Amendment and opposing gun control.

Addressing the history of gun control in the US, its role in slavery, and its current role in the deaths of young African-Americans.

Do yourself a favor and really take the time to watch this in its entirety, and then share on Facebook, Tweet, Google+, or e-mail. This should be seen by as many as possible!

California School To Use Tax Money To Train Students To Sell Obamacare
June 27, 2013 by Sam Rolley

“…Nearly all children nowadays were horrible. What was worst of all was that by means of such organizations as the Spies they were systematically turned into ungovernable little savages, and yet this produced in them no tendency whatever to rebel against the discipline of the Party. On the contrary, they adored the Party and everything connected with it. The songs, the processions, the banners, the hiking, the drilling with dummy rifles, the yelling of slogans, the worship of Big Brother — it was all a sort of glorious game to them. All their ferocity was turned outwards, against the enemies of the State, against foreigners, traitors, saboteurs, thought-criminals. It was almost normal for people over thirty to be frightened of their own children. And with good reason, for hardly a week passed in which The Times did not carry a paragraph describing how some eavesdropping little sneak — ‘child hero’ was the phrase generally used — had overheard some compromising remark and denounced its parents to the Thought Police.”–George Orwell in 1984

While they aren’t co-opting youngsters to spy on parents for speaking out against the government (yet), the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSF) is planning to use a $990,000 State grant to teach teens to sell Obamacare on their families.

The funding comes from a broader $37 million grant blitz by Covered California, the State’s health insurance exchange, to promote President Barack Obama’s nationally unpopular healthcare overhaul.

“We have confidence that the model LA Unified brought to the table will be successful in reaching our target population, which includes family members of students,” said Sarah Soto-Taylor, spokeswoman for Covered California.

The grant money provided to LAUSD will be used to encourage families to sign up for Obamacare via phone calls to students’ homes, in-class presentations and meetings with employees eligible for Obamacare’s taxpayer-covered healthcare, the grant award says.

Obama EEOC tells BMW & Dollar General to Hire Ex-Cons or Be Sued For Racism

Posted by Brian

H/T Fox News

In yet another attack on business by the Obama Administration, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suing Dollar General and BMW America, claiming that conducting background checks for a criminal past on potential hires amounts to discrimination.

The EEOC claims that even though the companies were following existing law, which requires them to do the checks, they used the information in considering hires, thus it is racist because a majority of those with criminal records are black or hispanic.  The EEOC says the policy has a "disparate impact" on minorities and causes a disproportionate number of blacks to be screened out of jobs due to their criminal records.

Well, duh! My dad told me a long time ago that there are consequences to my actions, and that some of those could have negative impacts on what I want to do in life.  He used to say, "You can have a thousand 'atta boys', and it only take one 'aw sh*t' to cancel them all out".  And that one screw-up can affect you for years, or even decades. Regaining trust, once broken, is a difficult thing to recover.  You can say "it isn't fair", and maybe it isn't always fair, but it is reality.  The person that breaks a trust has to work ten-fold to turn that impression around. Well, enough of my rant.

In this case, the EEOC is going after employers who are following the law, yet are still being harrassed by an overreaching and ham-fisted federal government.  On the one hand, the government says that the companies must do the checks, while on the other they say to discount what the checks may discover,  Worse, they are essentially saying that if a person has a criminal record they should be moved to the top of the list to eliminate the "appearance" of discrimination.

The federal government can't have it both ways. If they don't hire a person based on a criminal record, they open themselves up to being sued for discrimination. If they do hire the person, and that person steals from the company, or has an incident of workplace violence, the company opens itself up to loss of assets, or to litigation from its employees for hiring a known felon.

The Obama Administration continues its hostile, jack-booted march on the private sector,

Pentagon submits to Islam, forces Air Force to remove video that might offend Muslims
Posted on June 27, 2013 by creeping

But, but, Muslims keep telling us they worship the same God. Clearly not.
via Air Force Removes Video that Mentions God | FOX News & Commentary: Todd Starnes.

The Pentagon directed an Air Force Base to remove a video tribute to First Sergeants because it mentioned the word ‘God’ and might be offensive to atheists or Muslims, Fox News has learned.

The tribute was created by a chaplain at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. The chaplain wrote a poem titled, “God Created A First Sergeant.” It was later adapted into a video with a narration. First Sergeants are senior non-commissioned officers who look after enlisted members.

The video was modeled after the Dodge Ram Super Bowl commercial titled, “God Created A Farmer.”

Opinion: Paula Deen's Best Hope For Redemption? Absolution from the POprah!

Posted by Brian

I'm finally going to weigh in on the Paula Deen "controversy" which has dominated the news cycle for the past week. For starters, I am NOT a Paula Deen fan, and I find her "Southern" charm affected.  I saw one of her shows several years back while scanning channels. I think it was called "Paula's Party", although I'm not completely positive that was the name.  I found it to be insipid and nearly impossible to watch.

She and I, I'm fairly certain, do not share the same political ideology.  She openly supported Barack Obama in 2012, which anyone with a single conservative bone in their body would find impossible to do.

That said, I find what has happened to Paula Deen to be disgusting.  It doesn't necessarily make her a racist, though.  I, as much as anyone else, find the pejorative which she admits to using a disgusting and unacceptable term to be used by anyone - white, black, brown, whoever.  The argument that it is okay for Jami Foxx or Eddie Murphy to use the "n-word" is bull, and a double standard that should be addressed.

What is more interesting about all of the media shock, outrage, and bluster are the giddy round table discussions on the morning shows.  Self-appointed bigot police who argue that it doesn't matter when she said the "n-word", whether it be a week or ten years ago, Paula has some "splainin' to do".

So of course, Paula has been out there on her apology tour - on TV, the internet, and of course, her tearful and slobbering show of repentance on The Today Show - shamelessly begging the forgiveness of the American people for her sin(s).  You see, though she has issued several apologies, sincere ones it appears, this is not enough for the PC media.  No, the offender must be utterly humiliated and broken down over days or weeks to squeeze the maximum ratings out of these spectacles.

Deen even invoked the name of "Reverend Jackson", saying she had reached out to him in order to demonstrate she is not a racist.  This probably galls me more than anything else about this.  Not just for this incident, but for previous similar ones involving other people as well.  Jackson even said that Paula Deen can "be redeemed".  Oh, Please! Note to Jesse Jackson: YOU don't have the power to offer redemption, you pompous race-hustler!

Why Jesse Jackson is even relevant anymore, let alone someone who you would go to for absolution or spiritual matters, is the biggest outrage of all.  His numerous sex scandals with women not his wife, are well documented for the esteemed "Reverend". It was while he was giving "spiritual counsel" to then-President Bill Clinton regarding his affair with Monica Lewinski, the it was discovered that Jackson was in the midst of another affair all his own!  Bill and Hillary have been reported to have have said the "N-Word" on more than a few occasions, but get a pass for Bill being the "first black President".

It was the anti-semite Jesse Jackson who referred to Jews as "Hymies", and to New York City as "Hymietown" in 1984.  "But that was nearly 30 years ago", you say.  It was only 2008 when Jackson, speaking of an Obama Presidency said, "'Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades' remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House." I won't even go into the allegations of corporate shakedowns, or of the mystery of how the blood so opportunistically got on Jackson's sweater following the assassination of Martin Luther King, which led to the rise of Jesse Jackson in the civil rights movement.

Even with all of this pronating herself before the nation and the media, what has Paula Deen been able to accomplish?  The Food Network has fired her.  Home Depot and Wal-Mart have done likewise.  Her career is in freefall.  Nothing she has done - apologizing, humiliating herself on national TV, reaching out to civil right's leaders - will make one iota of difference to those who she thought would help her and stand behind her.

None of this will help because, apart from the ratings which they crave, the media and politically elite are consumed by racial politics. Able to twist themselves into intellectual pretzels, the use of the n-word by black comedians, cracker, whitey, or white/trailer trash by the "enlightened" elitists, are labeled acceptable. MSNBC's Chris Matthews literally can't make it through his show without labeling some person or group as racist for merely opposing the President's policies, all the while labeling Obama's critics as "crackers".

Chris can never pass up the opportunity to demonstrate his "white guilt" bona-fides.  Of course, Matthews is never taken to task for any of this because the racism he exhibits is acceptable. It is the subtle bigotry of low expectations.  He and other elites actually look down on blacks, Hispanics, women, and others.  To Chris and others, minorities are of inferior intelligence and motivation, incapable of raising themselves up without government handouts.  Life is rigged against them.  It is the reason that when someone like Allen West, Star Parker, or some other member of the minority community who rose up from less than affluent backgrounds, become successful and speak out about the opportunities that are available with hard work, education, and stick-to-itivness, they are called "Uncle Toms", "sell-outs", and "race traitors".  Instead of being held up as positive examples, they are brutally excoriated. They don't represent the leftist agenda, which is to keep all of these groups in a perpetual state of economic slavery, accepting the crumbs which leftist like Pelosi and Reid are so kind enough to occasionally toss their way.

Paula Deen never stood a chance.  The accusation was enough to destroy her.  When she was actually honest, admitting that she had used the n-word, even though she claims it was years ago, her goose was cooked. She was white, and she had a Southern accent (proof of racism and low intellect). No amount of apologizing or genuflecting could help her.

Well, there is ONE more thing Paula Deen can still do to resurrect her career.  Get absolution from the one person who is able to grant it: The POprah!  Grant an exclusive, prime-time interview to "The POprah", with the obligatory tears, genuflecting, and pleas for forgiveness. A generous monetary gift to one of Winfrey's schools probably won't hurt, either.

A thumbs-up and forgiveness from The POprah may be Paula Deen's final option for redemption. Not that she needs it from any of these people in the first place.

St. Louis Cardinal Fan Upset At Cross on Pitchers Mound - "Muslims (might) use that mound".

Posted by Brian

To the so-called Cardinal fan who is insulted by the sign of a cross on the pitchers mound in St. Louis:

Your country is crumbling around you.  Your rights are being taken away from you at a breakneck pace. Politicians, the media, and your fellow countrymen are waging a war on the the Constitution and the Judeo-Christian moorings on which it was founded, all while bending over and grabbing their ankles at every perceived slight from Islamists who push for sharia law in YOUR country!

And you have your panties in a wad over THIS.  Stand up and grow a pair!

Oh, by the way! Going into today, the Cardinal's are tied for the best record in baseball.  Not that I think the cross has anything to do with it, but knowing the superstitious nature of pro ballplayers, if it works for them, who am I to say it doesn't give them the little something extra to fall back on late in the ballgame, or the season.

Jun. 26, 2013 10:30pm Jason Howerton

At least one St. Louis Cardinals fan is upset that the team would allow religious symbols to be drawn into the pitcher’s mound at Busch Stadium.  Before home games, a groundskeeper has regularly drawn a “Christian” cross and what some claim is  the No. 6 for the late Cardinals great Stan Musial on the mound behind the rubber (though it looks like the Christian “fish” symbol), the Yahoo! Sports blog “Big League Stew” reports.

The symbols have reportedly been drawn when various pitchers have taken the mound. Some Cardinals players are outspoken about their faith and even Cardinals manager Mike Matheny proudly proclaims “Jesus Christ is at the center of my life.”

Obama WH Supports Kenyan Voter ID Program as "Critical" to a "Vibrant Democracy"

Posted by Brian

So Obama DOES support voter ID laws, knowing that they are critical to ensuring free and fair elections.  So, by extrapolation, can we assume that Barack Hussein Obama opposes voter ID laws in the United States for the very reason that it is easier to "game the system", and make it easier for widespread voter fraud?  Hmmmm?

WH Touts Kenyan Program to Obtain National ID Cards for Voter Registration 12:44 PM, JUN 27, 2013 • BY JERYL BIER

As President Obama and his family continue their tour of Africa, the White House put out a Fact Sheet entitled "U.S. Support for Strengthening Democratic Institutions, Rule of Law, and Human Rights in Sub-Saharan Africa." One of the first items highlighted by the White House is a $53 million program in Kenya that helps young people "obtain National identification cards, a prerequisite to voter registration."

Civil society and independent media play a critical role in any vibrant democracy.  Across sub-Saharan Africa, the United States supports efforts to ensure civil society organizations and independent media can organize, advocate, and raise awareness with governments and the private sector to improve political processes, transparency, and government performance.  Examples include:

Michelle Obama to Senegalese Children: My Childhood Was Just Like Yours.

Posted by Brian

Continuing her world "I'm just like you" tour, Michelle Obama, speaking to a group of Senegalese children, compared her childhood to that of the Senegalese children she was speaking to.

With all due respect Michelle, your childhood was nothing like it is for the children of Senegal, where the average annual  family income is about $1800 USD, unemployment approaches 50%, and the right to own property is tenuous at best, with inconsistent court rulings and corruption in the legal system.

No matter how ashamed FLOTUS has been of her country, the opportunities afforded her have been well above that of the vast majority of people in other parts of the world. To equate her experience with theirs is merely insulting and embarrassing.  She can get away with saying something like this because most Americans are completely clueless to what real poverty is.  I can assure you that it doesn't include cell phones and flat-screen televisions.

As with her ridiculous statement in Ireland, saying "It is good to be home", Michelle and Barack Obama continue to illustrate for everyone just how out-of-touch they are with the common folk, and the disdain they hold for them.  Even some of he Irish didn't buy the "aw shucks" Michelle pandering, with Irish Parliament member Clare Daly calling Michelle out for calling Ireland "home", “a country that she’s been in less than a week which her husband has tenuous ties to”, as well as saying Barack Obama  must be going "for hypocrite of the century award".

Perhaps the amount of time (and money) Michelle spends jet-setting around the world, being on vacation has become more "home" to her than in the official White House living quarters.  Whatever the case, Michelle and Barack Obama's song-and-dance act is playing as well in other countries as it has played for them with the sycophants in this country.

Just an embarrassment!

Michelle Obama Likens Her Upbringing to Senegalese Children's
10:19 AM, JUN 27, 2013 • BY DANIEL HALPER

In Dakar, Senegal, speaking at the Martin Luther King Middle School, First Lady Michelle Obama likened her upbringing to the upbringing of the Senegalese children at the school. Obama told the children of her "experience," and how it was similar to theirs.

"I know that what you all are doing here isn’t always easy," the first lady said to applause. "I know that some of you may be the first in your families to attend a school like Martin Luther King, so there might be people at home who don’t quite understand what you’re going through as you work to succeed here. And I know that for some of you, just sitting in these classrooms each day requires great sacrifices by your families."

"I know a little bit about this from my own experience. See, like many of you, I didn’t grow up in a family with a lot of money. My parents had to work hard every day to support us, so they never had the chance to get the kind of education they wanted for themselves. But they had big dreams for me. And more than anything in the world, they wanted me to graduate from secondary school and attend a university. So they, too, made tremendous sacrifices to make that dream come true," the first lady continued.

Making Us Less Safe - Obama Admin Allowing Women SEAL's/Rangers by 2015

Posted by Brian

As if further proof is needed that the Obama Administration and his limp-wristed, milquetoast SecDef Chuck Hagel are intentionally weakening our military fighting force, we now get a story from the NY Daily News that there are plans to allow women into the Special Operations teams known as the Navy SEAL's and Army Rangers.

Obama with intellectual midget and SecDef Chuck Hagel
This is not only disturbing, it is an outrage!  We're not talking about your average military billets here.  These are the top 1% of the top 1%!  The mental demands are not what are at issue here.  I fully believe that any motivated woman can fire a weapon a well as her male counterparts.  But the physical demands that are placed on the men who go through the training required to qualify as SEAL's and Rangers would be considered torture by some[Watch video].  And they go through it willingly.  These men are a complete different breed both mentally and physically.

This isn't like allowing a girl to join the boys Pee Wee football team when she's 12 years old.  This is akin to lining her up across the interior line from Ndamukong Suh in the NFL.

Of course, Hagel, Obama and the boys have it all figured out.  While denying that they will lower the physical standards,  Daily news story also says that "the services are methodically reviewing and revising the standards for many jobs, including strength and stamina, in order to set minimum requirements for troops to meet regardless of their sex".

Well, that certainly sounds like they are considering lowering the standards to help women meet them! Lowering standards for any job, to "level the playing field" for anyone, is a load of crap.  Lowering them to please a bunch of politicians and women's rights activists to help seal their legacy is criminal!  This will get good men AND women killed! That's right - KILLED!

For you women, as well as you sensitive metrosexuals out there standing up for "gender equality", let me clue you in on something.  Men and women aren't equal!  Biologically we are ,and always have been, different.  We are born with different muscle mass. We think differently.  We are built differently.  This is not to say men are better than women, it is to say we are different.  To pretend differently is naive, and in cases like this, dangerous.

The really sick thing in all of this is that Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, the NOW gang, and others will celebrate this (if it is implemented) as some sort of "victory" for women.  Pelosi, Boxer, and their ilk don't give a damn about women!  Like everything else to them, women are voting blocs and political pawns to be exploited for their own ambitions and power.

In their sick, twisted minds, if some women (and men) have to be sacrificed on the field of combat for their legacies, so be it.

Is an Oklahoma Meteorologist going to be Sued for telling people to Take Cover during the Tornado?

Posted by Brian

Meteorologist Mike Morgan is being blamed for the deaths of five people, including four children, in Yukon, Oklahoma in last months tornado.

The tornado measured an F5 on the Fujita scale, the most devastating and powerful rating given.
Morgan, who has received eleven Emmy's for his meteorology reporting, told viewers as the tornado was bearing down on them:

“It’s heading right down Interstate 40. You cannot be above ground in Yukon. You got to go south and you need to go now. And you need to be below ground – interior bathroom or closet’s not going to do it.”

Virginia Shrum said that she and her family were watching the report while deciding what course of action to take.  Upon seeing Morgan's announcement to get below ground, she and her family headed behind their apartment to take cover in a drainage tunnel.  Though the twister missed them, heavy rains caused flash flooding which swept all eleven people taking refuge there, sweeping them into the Oklahoma River where the five died.

On Fox News, Megyn Kelly discussed the tragedy with Fox Legal Analyst Lis Wiehl and defense attorney Mike Eiglarsh.

Wiehl opined that obviously Mike Morgan does not have blood on his hands, and that telling people to take cover below ground, or to get out of the path of the tornado if you have time, is standard advice for surviving a tornado, asking “Could he have foreseen, in the legal sense, the flash flooding? […] No, so there’s not civil liability.”

Eiglarsh saw it differently, saying that what Morgan told viewers was "completely irresponsible", referring to Morgan's advice to go South.

There is no doubt that this is a horrific tragedy, and every parent's worst nightmare. I won't even attempt to say I know how this family feels.  I don't, and I hope I never have to go thrugh what this family is suffering.  However, my question is this: Are we seriously at the point where weathermen or meteorologists are held responsible for advice given during natural weather events?

Eiglarsh certainly thinks so.  Like other slip-and-fall lawyers with no case, he uses legal sleight of hand to paint a false picture, focusing not on Morgan's advice that people get underground, which the Shrum family did and which is standard safety advice fr a powerful twister like this one, but instead diverting the focus to Morgan's advice to "head South", out of the path of the tornado.

Eiglarsh also says that Morgan's culpability is that he veered from reporting on the tornado to issuing advice. Lis Wiehl  interjected that other stations were also doing the same thing, to which Eiglarsh retorted "Everybody else was speeding! Oh Please."

So according to Mike Eiglarsh, tell people there are tornados which are headed your way, but as for what you should do, your on your own!
