Remember, these are the rebels who the Obama Administration is calling "moderate", and whom he wants to use US taxpayer money to arm and train.

All wars are vicious, but the civil war in Syria seems every day to set new standards for brutality. As the fighting rages in its third year, increasing numbers of atrocities are committed by soldiers and fighters from forces loyal to the regime of President Bashar Assad, as well as armed rebels and Islamic militants from the numerous, loosely aligned groups opposing Assad. Central Florida Professor's Lecture Lifts Veil On Islamist Agenda - CAIR Pressures Univ. to Investigate

An enlightening lecture by Central Florida University Associate Professor, Dr. Jonathan Matusitz on the challenges Western society faces, culturally and ideologically, with Islamism, and the danger of appeasement and caving to the demands of groups like CAIR and ISNA. He also points out the dangers of our federal government embedding known members of the Muslim Brotherhood as "advisors" to the White House, the Pentagon, DHS, etc.  It is putting the fox in the henhouse.

Predictably, the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR) protests that Dr. Matusitz is spreading misinformation while providing no proof of their accusations.  One of their protestations is of the Professor saying Germany will be an Islamic Republic by 2050 due to Muslim immigration and birthrates, calling it a "bizarre" claim.  This so-called "bizarre" claim is backed up by immigration and birth statistics, AND is echoed by none other than German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

An excellent lecture, with Q&A session following.  Well worth the time to watch when you have the time. Share liberally.

ALGERIAN NIGHTMARE! 23 Hostages Killed in Final Assault on Gas Complex

ALGERIA: 32 MILITANTS KILLED, WITH 23 HOSTAGES

ALGIERS, Algeria (AP) -- In a bloody finale, Algerian special forces stormed a natural gas complex in the Sahara desert on Saturday to end a standoff with Islamist extremists that left at least 23 hostages dead and killed all 32 militants involved, the Algerian government said.  

With few details emerging from the remote site in eastern Algeria, it was unclear whether anyone was rescued in the final operation, but the number of hostages killed on Saturday - seven - was how many the militants had said that morning they still had. The government described the toll as provisional and some foreigners remained unaccounted for.
