Utah Judge: Polygamy Ban is Unconstitutional

When you have breached the firewalls, where does it stop?

Remember when those on the left said that it was fear-mongering to even suggest that same-sex marriage would open the door to polygamy, polyamory (group marriage), bestiality, and other practices outside of traditional marriage?  There were those of us who saw this as the logical extension of what the left is doing.  They want to destroy the institutions and fundamental traditions that have made America the greatest country on the planet. The problem is, is that many Americans just can't comprehend how sick the leftist mind really is, and refuse to believe that anyone could have those motives.
Islam has a practice called taqiya, which states it is okay to deceive someone if it helps to further the islamic faith. Leftists have learned well from islamists and other immoral societies throughout history, and practice the same thing to further their religion of liberalism.
This is why it is foolish to enter into "good faith" negotiations with today's liberals and statists. They engage in their own version of taqiya, practicing a "by any means necessary" playbook to further their agenda. Lying, cheating, and deceiving are all acceptable to these leftists.  One need look no further than ObamaCare to see this.  Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of the Democrats and leftists knew they couldn't be honest with the American people about what was in the bill, or how it would negatively affect them.  They certainly couldn't admit that the whole thing was an elaborate plan to redistribute wealth.  The American people wouldn't have supported it.  It is why Nancy Pelosi was out there saying that they needed "to pass it, so you can see what's in it".
It's the same thing with this.  American's would not go along with gay marriage if they know that, for the leftists, its just a first step toward polygamy, polyamory, and the deconstruction and shredding of the moral fabric has made this country a shining example to the rest of the world for over 200 years.

U.S. District Judge Clark Waddoups said in the decision handed down Friday that a provision in Utah law forbidding cohabitation with another person violated the First Amendment right of freedom of religion.

So the "Annointed One" is now telling us, that like a spoiled child, he plans to unilaterally violate the Constitution by raising the debt ceiling if House Republicans don't give him what he whaaaants?

Obama is in the midst of one of the biggest political power fits in history.  Shutting down monuments and scenic overlooks, including the World War Two Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC.  Others this megalomaniacal jerk has closed are the parking lots at Mount Rushmore, as well as at Mount Vernon (which is privately funded), and scenic overlooks on the George Washington parkway around DC.  And lest we forget, the National Amber Alert website has been shut down, to remind us how this is affecting our safety as well. However, Michelle Obama's websites are still up and running, including her "Get Moving" website.  I guess here programs qualify as "essential" government work.

Obama is having a blast in shoving American's faces in it. We are not supposed to speak up.  We are to shut the hell up, bend over and take whatever he want us to abuse us with.  There is no room for dissent.  As a Washington DC Park Ranger told the Washington Times:  “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.”  There's your all-caring Barack Obama for you.

The problem is, is that public opinion is turning away from the President on the budget deal, so he is now focuing on scaring us about the debt ceiling.  He is actively trying to spook the markets.  He is talking of the US defaulting on its debt, and of the dire consequences that would bring.  The dirty secret is this: The US is not going to default if the debt ceiling is not raised. The US brings in $225B/mo. in tax receipts.  The interest on the debt is about a tenth of that, and is all that is needed to be paid to stay out of default.

Knowing this, the President insists that he get a clean continuing resolution with increased spending and everything that HE wants, (a CR, because he has not submitted a serious budget to Congress in his 5 years), and yet another increase to the debt ceiling. And if he doesn't get it, because he's already stated numerous time that he "refuse(s) to negotiate", that he's just going to have to unconstitutionally go around Congress and do this himself, using the 14th Amendment as his justification. One problem for "The Messiah". The 14th Amendment does not give the President unilateral authority to issue new debt on the U.S. credit than he has to collect taxes or make expenditures that have not been enacted by Congress, no matter what Harry Reid or the lapdog media say.

The debt clause of the Amendment states: "The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void".

Keep in mind that this Amendment came at the end of the Civil War, and was one of three post-civil war amendments. The debt clause was put in because of the debt incurred by the war still had to be paid.  The debt needed to be paid by both the northern and southern states.  The 14th Amendment was put in to prevent the southern states from saying they would not pay for the cost of the war.  What it does not say is that President Obama, or any president, can borrow money or spend money which has not first been authorized by Congress.  ALL spending must originate in the House of Representatives, and the 14th amendment does not render that null and void.

President Obama knows this, as do his advisors, and those on the left who are encouraging him to do it, including the village idiot Nancy Pelosi.  For Barack Obama and this bunch, separation of powers are a nuisance, not a constitutional firewall against abuse. If he follows through on his threat, Articles of Impeachment should be drawn up, and Barack Obama should go on trial.

TX Student: School's "Mandatory" RFID Tracking Chip Unconstitutional

Andrea Hernandez, a Texas high school student, is challenging the constitutionality of a "mandatory" requirement that all students must wear a student badge with an embedded RFID chip.
The school district claims it is for the "safety" of the students, as well as for "attendance" purposes.
The school may be partially honest in their claims about attendance being one of the primary purposes.  Most school districts receive funds based on the number of students attending school on any given day.
The truth is probably that the school is trying to ensure that they get every cent that they are due, based on attendance, and that one of the real reason for the RFID has everything to do with money, and little to do with safety.
Another more insidious reason may be to "train" students to be more blindly compliant to authority, i.e. the government. As Miss Hernandez point out, correctly, the RFID chip does not "turn off" after they leave the campus, and students may be susceptible to predators.
A judge has issued a temporary restraining order, saying that the "mandatory" requirement by the principal is a violation of speech and freedom of religion.

"Highball" with Chris Matthews: Criticizing Obama is UnConstitutional and Racist!

Maybe his show should be "Highball with Chris Matthews"

Here we go again.  Chris Matthews pulling out the race card again.  Discussing the Presidential debates with James Lipton of "Inside the Actors Studio, Chris Matthews reached into his racist bag again to smear Mitt Romney. Saying that Mitt Romney "looked down upon the President", he then said "we can only imagine what that was based upon". Only a fool would believe that that was not a not-so-veiled attempt at calling Mitt Romney a racist. Of course, to Chris Matthews any criticism by a conservative is based on their inherent racism, and couldn't possibly be based on legitimate policy disagreements.  And of course, any challenge to the President is considered rude and based on racism.
Earlier in the interview, Chris and Mr. Lipton are seen wringing their hands at the incivility in politics, and Mitt Romney in particular, with Chris claiming that it's now "unconstitutional" to challenge the President!
I don't know what Chris Matthews was like when he was drinking (he's supposedly stopped), but if this is how his mind works when he's sober, he must have been a hoot to hang out with when he was closing the bar.

Fundraising E-Mails For Obama Sent Within Hours After Obama Amnesty Announcement

There used to be these things in elections called "October Surprises".  Last-minute political ploys attempting to sway undecided voters during the final days of an election have not been uncommon.

The Obama campaign has begun, I believe, what is going to be a new tactic.  Monthly "surprises" leading up to the November vote.  Each one with fundraising appeals to the special interest group that Obama is targeting.  The announcement of amnesty for 800k illegal immigrants is only his "June surprise".

Expect others regarding marijuana legalization, new LGBT policy 'guidelines', announcements on the the War on Terror or closing GITMO, or other such announcements.  All with fundraising appeals.  All done by edict and bypassing Congress. All followed by attacks on Romney and conservatives for being cruel, heartless bastards for opposing Obama's unconstitutional violation of separation of powers.

Obama is no longer satisfied with being President.  He has now transformed himself in a modern day version of the monarchs which our founders fought and died for, and has established an imperial presidency.

Congressional officials said President Obama used his recess appointment powers Wednesday to name a head for the controversial Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in a move Republican lawmakers said amounted to an unconstitutional power grab.

The president acted just a day after the Senateheld a session — a move that breaks with at least three different precedents that said the Senatemust be in recess for at least three days. Mr. Obama himself was part of two of those precedents, both during his own time in the Senateand again in 2010 when one of his administration’s top constitutional lawyers made the three-day argument to the Supreme Court.
