Colorado voters sent a revolutionary message Tuesday: "Don't Tread On Me".

Sick and tired of politicians ignoring their voice, Colorado voters in two districts targeted and successfully recalled two Senators seen as anti-second amendment, and who actively shut Coloradoans out of any debate on anti-gun legislation.

Though supported by out-of-state money, including hundreds of thousands of dollars from NY Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Senate President John Morse, and Senator Angela Giron were recalled by voters Tuesday night by a grassroots movement started by a small group of six men who were fed up with politicians ignoring their constituents.

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg is ponying up millions of dollars of his own money to run ads touting mandatory gun registration.  Hey! Its his money.  He can do what he wants. It's still a free country...for now.

What is disturbing, or comical, depending on your frame of mind, is that the average Joe in the ad, who claims to be a lifelong hunter, says that "with rights comes responsibility", yet he violates some of the most basic gun safety rules while he is saying it.

Can you spot the violations?






1) Finger is on the trigger!  Your finger should NEVER be on the trigger unless you are ready to fire the weapon.  It should be along side the trigger guard.

2) The bolt action is closed.  There is no way to tell if the weapon is loaded.  Disturbing if you are touting your responsibility to viewers.

3) The weapon is pointed down range, (with the bolt closed and finger on the trigger). Weapon should either be pointed down at the ground (my preference) or pointed up into the air.

Great job on demonstrating for everyone how NOT to handle a weapon, Mayor!

Self-appointed health Nazi Michael Bloomberg is at it again.  Not content with his edicts to ban trans-fats in restaurants, sodas larger than 16 ounces, or smoking in public parks, the little dictator has set his sights on his next personal pet peeve - Styrofoam.
The fact that restaurants and eateries all over the city would have to switch to other, more expensive means of providing "to-go" containers matter not to an arrogant little piece of crap like Bloomturd.  Overtaxed, over-regulated New Yorkers will of course go along with the associated increases to their ever-rising cost of living in the "Big Apple", as businesses will be forced to either raise their prices or begin charging for the to-go containers to maintain their shrinking profit margins.
The man who mounted an air conditioning unit into the window of his limousine has, like all statists, the 'Do as I say' condescending attitude for dealing with his subjects, saying "the doggie bag will survive just fine".

New York City Mayor Michael 'Bloomturd' is at it again, deciding for citizens of the Big Apple what is appropriate, in his view, what is acceptable to consume.

His latest push is to "ban" all sugary drinks over 16 ounces, reportedly in an effort to fight obesity. This mayor has a 'Napoleon complex' the size of the city he presides over, yet these dupes keep reelecting this  idiot.  I could say, "Good for them, They get what they deserve!", but unfortunately, as with the other liberal Mecca called California, these intrusions into personal responsibility and individual freedom end up being enacted in other places all over the country.

It's not just Bloomberg who is a intrusive busy-body with regards to what food or drinks individual Americans partake of.  It's leftist's in general.  The Center for Science in the Public Interest got this nanny-state crap going back in the 1990's with their attack on coconut oil being used in movie theatre popcorn, claiming it was causing obesity, which was ridiculous. But theatre chain owners capitulated, and pulled the offending oil from the theaters.  Movie popcorn has never tasted the same since.

Of course this didn't assuage the leftist busybodies, it only emboldened them.  All foods that these pasty-skinned, metrosexual, vegan, panty-waists don't like are now in the crosshairs. Salt, trans-fats, sugar, coconut oil, Mexican food, Olestra, French food, red meat, portion sizes in restaurants - all of these, and more, have been or will be, targets of these food nazis.

Meanwhile, there are people walking around, perfectly fine with a single man telling them what they, and millions of their fellow Americans, can and cannot eat or drink.

This isn't just about sugar or obesity.  It is about freedom.  Freedom to make your own choices.  Freedom to govern yourself.  This is the tyranny of an out of control bureaucracy.  When a government can tell you what you can, and cannot, eat or drink, then what are the limits to what they can't do?  They now have the power to regulate every aspect of your life, including your diet.  Yet, people are willingly turning over their freedom to a few elitist ass hats like Michael Bloomturd because they feel that people should eat healthier.  Maybe so, but that is their responsibility, and it should not be turned over to any Michael Bloomberg, Michelle Obama, or anybody else.

Leftists love to talk of a "woman's right to own her own body" when it come to abortion.  Apparently that is not the case when it comes to food or drink.  For women. or anyone else. Not where leftists are concerned.  This exposes the entire house of cards on which liberalism is based.  Just as abortion is NOT about a woman's right to choose (it is about killing babies, and primarily minority babies), banning sugary drinks is not about obesity.  It is about power. It is about control.  It is about government inserting itself into more and more of every single aspect of your life.

And the "Little Napoleon" Michael Bloomberg is going to throw around all 5'6'' of his scrawny, elitist ass to ensure that we all do as he decrees.

From The Who Gives A S**T File! Restaurant Food Has Too Many Calories and Fat

Now that the media has picked up on this study, it's only a matter of time before the Bloomturd's of the world start pushing for legislation to reduce portion sizes, reduce the amount of fat grams, and put limits on salt in restaurant food.  In other words, all of the stuff that makes restaurant food taste good, and draws us out of our own kitchens to go out and treat ourselves to some rich, fatty goodness.

No. it is governments' "job" to protect us from ourselves and to remove any inkling of personal responsibility from its citizens.  Big Nanny will tell us what we should eat, how much, and when.

A whopping 96% of main entrees sold at top U.S. chain eateries exceed daily limits for calories, sodium, fat and saturated fat recommended by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, reports the 18-month study conducted by the Rand Corp. and funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

So much for serving the homeless.

The Bloomberg administration is now taking the term “food police” to new depths, blocking food donations to all government-run facilities that serve the city’s homeless.

In conjunction with a mayoral task force and the Health Department, the Department of Homeless Services recently started enforcing new nutritional rules for food served at city shelters. Since DHS can’t assess the nutritional content of donated food, shelters have to turn away good Samaritans.

For over a decade, Glenn Richter and his wife, Lenore, have led a team of food-delivery volunteers from Ohab Zedek, the Upper West Side Orthodox congregation.
