Liberal Researcher Fabricated Data in Dozens of Studies For Personal Gain, Agenda

Posted by Brian

How many more Diederik Stapel's are there in the different sciences, driven by fame, skewing data in order to reach that individual scientists own preconceived bias'?  It was only a few years ago that scientists from the University of East Anglia were found to be skewing climate data to push the global warming/climate change agenda.

Diederik Stapel made up the data for dozens of studies

One summer night in 2011, a tall, 40-something professor named Diederik Stapel stepped out of his elegant brick house in the Dutch city of Tilburg to visit a friend around the corner. It was close to midnight, but his colleague Marcel Zeelenberg had called and texted Stapel that evening to say that he wanted to see him about an urgent matter. The two had known each other since the early ’90s, when they were Ph.D. students at the University of Amsterdam; now both were psychologists at Tilburg University. In 2010, Stapel became dean of the university’s School of Social and Behavioral Sciences and Zeelenberg head of the social psychology department. Stapel and his wife, Marcelle, had supported Zeelenberg through a difficult divorce a few years earlier. As he approached Zeelenberg’s door, Stapel wondered if his colleague was having problems with his new girlfriend.

Zeelenberg, a stocky man with a shaved head, led Stapel into his living room. “What’s up?” Stapel asked, settling onto a couch. Two graduate students had made an accusation, Zeelenberg explained. His eyes began to fill with tears. “They suspect you have been committing research fraud.”

Stapel was an academic star in the Netherlands and abroad, the author of several well-regarded studies on human attitudes and behavior. That spring, he published a widely publicized study in Science about an experiment done at the Utrecht train station showing that a trash-filled environment tended to bring out racist tendencies in individuals. And just days earlier, he received more media attention for a study indicating that eating meat made people selfish and less social.

His enemies were targeting him because of changes he initiated as dean, Stapel replied, quoting a Dutch proverb about high trees catching a lot of wind. When Zeelenberg challenged him with specifics — to explain why certain facts and figures he reported in different studies appeared to be identical — Stapel promised to be more careful in the future. As Zeelenberg pressed him, Stapel grew increasingly agitated.

Finally, Zeelenberg said: “I have to ask you if you’re faking data.”

Coulter's "Conservative" Christie says He Agrees with Lib Andrew Cuomo on 98% of Issues

H/T to Big Government

So, have Ann Coulter and numerous others been hornswoggled by the supposedly conservative Chris Christie? My question: Will this finally wake Coulter up, or has "Christie the Pizza Hut" swayed her over to the dark side for good?
The New Jersey Governor, famous for his contentious encounters with the teachers union in his state on YouTube, has garnered the attention of many for his brash, no-nonsense way he has stood up to them in the videos. As a result, many, including the aforementioned Coulter, have carried on like school girls over Christie, in much the same cult of personality, mindless way that liberals react to Obama.  The Christie in the video is who they are in love with.  "See how he stands up to the union!", they say. The fact that he leans, or is liberal on any number of core conservative values and issues, from climate change to gun control,  illegal immigration, Islamists, and government-run health care matters not.
Saying that he agrees with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on 98% (link) of the issues only cements what many of us have been saying for several years.
Christie is a well-entrenched liberal Republican, and just another of the GOP establishment who need to be exposed and defeated.

Donkey Punch Award: Libs Fight 'War On Women', Start 'Rock The Slut Vote'

Posted by Brian
Claiming that she wants the 2012 electoral map to be completely blue, Susan McMillan Emry has started a drive called named "Rock The Slut Vote."
Apparently, looking at every female Democrat voter as a slut, Ms. Emry is confident that the Democrat Party has yet to tap the millions of sluts and potential sluts to thrust Obama over the finish line in November.
Claiming that the drive is in response to the trumped-up GOP "War on Women" earns Ms. Emry my first ever "Donkey Punch Award". Congratulations!

LIBERALS START 'ROCK THE SLUT VOTE'

Apparently, liberals are no longer concerned about the use of the word “slut.” A new website, created by study guide publisher Susan McMillan Emry, is seeking to “fight the GOP effort to bully, subjugate and silence women.” The name of the website? “Rock The Slut Vote.”

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Tells Egyptians: Look To The Constitutions of South Africa or Canada, Not To The U.S. Constitution

h/t to Free Republic
Why do we have so many truly crazy decisions come out of the U.S. Supreme Court?  Well, maybe it's because we have leftists like Ruth Bader Ginsburg who believe that our Constitution is "old" and outdated. She made it clear while speaking to Al Hayat television that she has a problem with the U.S. Constitution, and that Egypt would do well to look at S. Africa, Canada, and the European Union for guidance on drafting a constitution and safeguarding human rights, intimating that the U.S. record on human rights is wanting.
Maybe Ginsburg should step down due to her disdain for a constitution which she has sworn to uphold.

Following are excerpts from an interview with US Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, which aired on Al-Hayat TV on January 30, 2012.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg: It is a very inspiring time - that you have overthrown a dictator, and that you are striving to achieve a genuine democracy. So I think people in the United States are hoping that this transition will work, and that there will genuinely be a government of, by, and for the people.

I met with the head of the elections commission. I think that the first step has gone well, and that elections have been held for the lower house that everyone has considered to be free and fair. So that's one milestone, and the next will be the drafting of a constitution.

I can't speak about what the Egyptian experience should be, because I'm operating under a rather old constitution. The United States, in comparison to Egypt, is a very new nation, and yet we have the oldest written constitution still in force in the world.

Let me say first that a constitution, as important as it is, will mean nothing unless the people are yearning for liberty and freedom. If the people don't care, then the best constitution in the world won't make any difference. So the spirit of liberty has to be in the population, and then the constitution - first, it should safeguard basic fundamental human rights, like our First Amendment, the right to speak freely, and to publish freely, without the government as a censor.

You should certainly be aided by all the constitution-writing that has gone one since the end of World War II. I would not look to the US constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012. I might look at the constitution of South Africa. That was a deliberate attempt to have a fundamental instrument of government that embraced basic human rights, had an independent judiciary... It really is, I think, a great piece of work that was done. Much more recent than the US constitution - Canada has a Charter of Rights and Freedoms. It dates from 1982. You would almost certainly look at the European Convention on Human Rights. Yes, why not take advantage of what there is elsewhere in the world?

Infamous Rolling Stone Journalist Admits Most Journalists Are Liberal

"Polk Award-winning journalist" Michael Hastings states the obvious, that most journalists are liberal, and that a journalist’s job is to “afflict the comfortable and comfort the afflicted”. Interesting, but I thought that the highest tenet of journalists was to tell the truth, no matter where that truth led.
