Palestinians Flying Nazi Flaq Next to Mosque Outside Hebron

And people wonder why I refer to them as Islamo-Nazis!

ISRAELI MOTORISTS SHOCKED WHEN NAZI FLAG SEEN FLYING NEAR PALESTINIAN MOSQUE
May. 20, 2013 10:27am Sharona Schwartz

Israeli settlers on their morning commute got quite the eyeful Monday morning when they saw a swastika-emblazoned red flag flying near a mosque in Beit Omar, a Palestinian village outside of Hebron.
Thousands of residents of Jewish settlements near Hebron and Bethlehem in Judea (the southern West Bank) drive to and from work on the road from which the flag was visible.
The Tazpit News Agency, which photographed the flying Nazi flag, reports residents “were astounded” to see the symbol under which millions of Jews were massacred during World War II now being prominently displayed by residents of a Palestinian town.
Uri Arnon, who saw the flag, told Tazpit News Agency: “I felt we were going back 75 years, losing our hold on the land. The Arabs no longer feel the need to hide their murderous tendencies, announcing out loud that they wish to destroy us.”

Obama's Trip To Israel has Israeli's Asking: 'Why is Obama Here?'

Posted by Brian

Obama’s mysterious visit
By CAROLINE B. GLICK19/03/2013
In contrast to the high expectations the White House cultivated in pre-Cairo visit statements, Obama has downplayed his visit to Israel.

Why is US President Barack Obama coming to Israel today? In 2008, then president George W. Bush came to celebrate Israel’s 60th Independence Day, and to reject Israeli requests for assistance in destroying Iran’s nuclear installations.

In 1996, then-president Bill Clinton came to Israel to help then-prime minister Shimon Peres’s electoral campaign against Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu.

It is possible that Obama is coming here in order to build up pro-Israel bonafides. But why would he bother? Obama won his reelection bid with the support of the overwhelming majority of American Jews. Their support vindicated his hostility toward Israel in his first term. He has nothing to prove.

It is worth comparing Obama’s visit to Israel at the start of his second term of office, with his visit to Cairo at the outset of his first term in office.

Ahead of that trip, the new administration promised that the visit, and particularly Obama’s “Address to the Muslim World,” would serve as a starting point for a new US policy in the Middle East. And Obama lived up to expectations.

In speaking to the “Muslim World,” Obama signaled that the US now supported pan-Islamists at the expense of US allies and Arab nationalist leaders, first and foremost then Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak. Moreover, in castigating Israel for its so-called “settlements”; channeling Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad by intimating that Israel exists because of the Holocaust; and failing to travel from Cairo to Jerusalem, preferring instead to visit a Nazi death camp in Germany, Obama signaled that he was downgrading US ties with the Jewish state.

No Friend! Obama's Continued Attack On Israel and Netanyahu

Posted by Brian

Likud Party officials are accusing Barack Obama of "gross interference" in upcoming Israeli elections after a blistering attack on Benyamin Netanyahu in an interview in Bloomberg magazine.

In the Bloomberg article, Jeffrey Goldberg writes of Obama's reaction to Israel's announcement of building settlements between North Jerusalem and the Jewish settlement town of Maaleh Adumim, called E-1 :

When informed about the Israeli decision, Obama, who has a famously contentious relationship with the prime minister, didn’t even bother getting angry. He told several people that this sort of behavior on Netanyahu’s part is what he has come to expect, and he suggested that he has become inured to what he sees as self-defeating policies of his Israeli counterpart.
In the weeks after the UN vote, Obama said privately and repeatedly, “Israel doesn’t know what its own best interests are.” With each new settlement announcement, in Obama’s view, Netanyahu is moving his country down a path toward near-total isolation.
Bloomberg also quoted Obama as saying:
“Israel doesn’t know what its own best interests are”, that "he would not be surprised if Obama “eventually offered a public vision of what a state of Palestine should look like, and affirmed that it should have its capital in East Jerusalem.” and calls Netanyahu "a political coward".

This all comes out on the eve of Israeli elections on January 22.

There are, of course, going to be many who will discount this as anti-Obama rhetoric, but it is Obama's own record on Israel, as well as his kid-glove treatment with the Palestinians, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Arab world, which has the Israeli's to see this latest attack on them and Netanyahu as too coincidental. (See video below)

The Obama Administration has been the most hostile to Israel of any U.S. President, including Jimmy Carter, who is openly hostile to Israel, and a Palestinian sympathizer.

In 2009, Obama's first televised interview was with Al Arabiya TV. Days later, Obama gave a speech at American University in Cairo Egypt, fullfilling a campaign promise of giving a speech in an Arab capital in his first 100 days in office. In his speech, Obama said that "The U.S. does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements. It is time for the settlements to stop". Also, in a particularly disturbing portion of his speech, gave moral equivalency to Israeli treatment of Palestinians to the Nazi holocaust!

In a phone conference with U.S. Jewish leaders, he stated that "It's a problem  that there is no daylight between the U.S. and Israel ", and that "Israel must engage in serious self-reflection about their commitment to peace."  Their commitment to peace?  While rockets rain down daily on Israel, and small town like Sderot, from Palestinian territory, Barack Obama says nothing.  But Israel must "reflect on their commitment to peace"?

The daylight that Barack Obama is putting between the U.S. and Israel is a wedge between us and one of our strongest allies, and the only democracy left in the Middle East.

His criticism of Israel has been not only privately between Jewish leaders, and Netanyahu.  He has taken his attacks to the world stage at the UN, Amb. Susan Rice gave a speech condemning Israel in language normally reserved for regimes like Qadaffi's Libya, or North Korea. Obama in his UN speech then bluntly called for the "complete cessation of building by any Jews on land 'claimed' by Palestinians", referring to post-1967 Israeli land "Occupied" land, and has said on more than one occassion that "Borders between Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines", a border which nearly every military and middle east expert has called "indefensible" for Israel, and would virtually guarantee continuous attacks on Israel from the Golan Heights.   Secretary of State Hillary Clinton also criticized the building of settlements, including the ones in E-1 of N. Jerusalem.  Hillary is another of Obama's Administration who has been seen as less-than-friendly to Israel, famously embracing the wife of Yasser Arafat during a meeting, and once calling Bill Clinton campaign staffer  "You f**king Jew bastard!" after Bill lost a run for Congress.  Friend of Israel?

Later, at the G20 Summit, Obama and Nikolas Sarkozy were overheard saying of Netanyahu:

Sarkozy: "I can't stand him anymore. He's a liar."
Obama: "You may be sick of him, but I have to deal with him every day."

Ah. with friends like these...

Obama Administration appointees have also been sent out to criticize Israel, including Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, who called Israel and "ungrateful ally".

Obama has also been quick to blame Israel for the killing of 9 terrorists onboard a Turkish ship, which was sent for the express purpose of breaking a blockade of ships supplying arms to Palestinians in Gaza. When Israeli troops boarded the ship, they were immediately attacked by Islamist militants, and the Israeli's killed nine of the terrorists.  Condemnation of Israel was immediate, with the Obama Administration piling on in the criticism.  An investigation revealed that the Islamists had planned the attack and that the Israeli's were justified in their actions by self-defense.  There has been no retraction by the Obama Administration of its condemnation.

That the Obama Administration has a strained relationship with our longtime ally is not debatable.  I would call it outright hostile, and have little trouble believing that Obama would love to see Netanyahu weakened in Israeli politics, and that he might even try to use the bully-pulpit to affect voters in Israel, while once-again sending not-so-subtle indications to Iran and the rest of the Arab world that his support of Israel is not so strong as he leads U.S. voters to believe in his campaign speeches.

Ultimately, I don't expect that Netanyahu and the Likud Party will have any problem holding onto, or even increasing their hold on power due to Obama's criticisms.  What his attacks do do is to provide one more piece to the growing evidence of the Obama Administration's hostility to Israel and the Jewish people.

Likud accuses Obama of 'interference' in elections
By GIL HOFFMAN, HERB KEINON01/15/2013 23:07

Senior Likud officials charge US president with leaking sharp criticism of Netanyahu to media in order to sway votes.

Senior Likud officials accused US President Barack Obama on Tuesday of leaking sharp criticism of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s leadership to columnist Jeffrey Goldberg in order to sway voters in next Tuesday’s election.

Goldberg quoted Obama in a Bloomberg piece as having said privately that “Israel doesn’t know what its own best interests are.”

A sharp critic himself of Netanyahu and the country’s settlement policies, Goldberg wrote that “with each new settlement announcement, in Obama’s view, Netanyahu is moving his country down a path toward near isolation.”

VIDEO: Former Soviet Citizen Destroys OWS Member's Notions of Utopia, and of Israeli Aggression

Posted by Brian
H/T Breitbart

This is how we win over (some of) the youth!

A member of OWS comes up to two old men, both from the former Soviet Union, and hands them a paper, which he calls "The Occupy Wall Street Journal". One of the gentlemen engages the younger man in a conversation. Using logic, common sense, and facts, this former citizen of the citizen of the Soviet Union, Mr. Vladamir Jaffe,  gives the young OWS skullfull of mush a history lesson on capitalism vs. socialism, liberty vs. tyranny, and explodes this young man's wrong preconceptions of Israel's "aggression" towards its Arab neighbors. The young man eventually moves on, but with a lot more to think about, and hopefully a better appreciation for Israel's right to defend itself, as well as more appreciation for his own country.

There are probably countless others like this young man in the Occupy movement who's minds have been cluttered with Marxist clap-trap. They aren't yet fully committed Marxists', but "feel" that they want to be part of something that is "making a difference".  But the are blind to the fact that they are part of a movement that would ultimately keep them subservient to the government, and that they have gotten in bed with the devil.  These are the one we have to reach.

Props to the OWS guy, who was respectful and attentive to Mr. Jaffe's well thought out arguments.

Well worth the 15 minutes to watch.

Please watch and share with your Facebook or Twitter friends.

Obama's Election Year Conversion On Israel

Posted by Brian

How the Obama Administration Has Changed Its Tune on Israel
by Eli Lake Mar 6, 2012 4:45 AM EST

It wasn’t long ago that the White House was angering Israeli leaders with statements seen as critical. But 2012 is an election year, and that makes all the difference.

It was one of those moments you could experience only at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) annual conference. At the lectern was Susan Rice, President Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations. In the audience were 300 rabbis, Jewish-community leaders, and AIPAC delegates who were allowed to attend Rice’s speech, an event left off the public agenda for the conference.

Rice, an African-American, began her remarks by quoting in stilted Hebrew from a traditional Jewish hymn, “Hiney ma tov u’ma-mayim. Shevet akh-im gam ya-chad,” which translates: “Behold how good and pleasing it is for brothers to sit together.” When she finished her speech—about how she and her staff work every day to defend Israel at Turtle Bay—the audience broke into the same song the ambassador had quoted at the start: “Hiney ma tov u’ma-nayim,” everyone sang. “Shevet akh-im gam ya-chad.”
Listening to the speech, it would be hard to discern that Rice had caused a stir with the Israeli government little more than a year ago. At that time, Israeli officials didn’t like her remarks at all. Following an American veto of a resolution condemning Israeli settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territories, Rice had explained the vote like this: “While we agree with our fellow council members—and indeed, with the wider world—about the folly and illegitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity, we think it unwise for this council to attempt to resolve the core issues that divide Israelis and Palestinians. We therefore regrettably have opposed this draft resolution.”

I have been asked by various media the last few days for my comments, view of the current situation regarding my former boss Ron Paul, as he runs for the presidency on the Republican ticket.
I’ve noticed in some media that my words have been twisted and used for an agenda from both sides. And I wish to set the record straight with media that I trust and know will get the story right: conservative/libertarian-conservative bloggers.

Why the Israeli's aren't at "the damn table"

Posted by Brian
h/t to Sunny Abarbanel

Why they aren’t at “the damn table”

One of the themes of the Obama Administration’s policy is that Israel is responsible for the non-progress of the ‘peace process’ between Israel and the PLO.
For example, last week the US Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, said this directly:
“I understand the view that this is not the time to pursue peace, and that the Arab awakening further imperils the dream of a safe and secure, Jewish and democratic Israel. But I disagree with that view,” Panetta said.
He said Israel needed to take risks, including by breathing new life into moribund peace talks with Palestinians. When asked by a moderator what steps Israel needed to take to pursue peace, Panetta said: “Just get to the damn table.”

White House Silent on Conversation With French President Insulting Israeli Prime Minister

The White House is declining to comment about an audio tape from last week's G20 summit that captured President Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy venting about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom Sarkozy calls a "liar."
The conversation overheard by reporters -- who evidently agreed not to report it because it was captured before the two leaders thought they were on-mic -- was picked up on English and French simultaneous translation headsets.

Why Doesn't This Get Reported? Arabs E. Jerusalem Lining Up To Request Israeli Citizenship

Look how Israel treats the Palestinian Arabs: Part 3

I was astonished to discover over 60 positive news stories since July 2010 that never appeared anywhere except in the Israeli press. In this final part, I have selected some of the stories where Israelis and Palestinian Arabs get together outside of the working environment; plus some facts about co-existence that you may be unaware of.

Israelis are mad about sports and they are keen to mix together with their neighbors on the playing field. In May, a team of Israeli Jews and Palestinian Arabs were narrowly beaten by an ex-pat Aussie team in a practice for the Australian Rules International Football Cup later this year. In September, a Jerusalem team of Israelis and Palestinian Arabs put aside their differences and teamed up to compete in Israel’s amateur American tackle football league. By March there were two teams, each containing both Israeli Jews and Palestinian Arabs, that battled out the final of Israel Bowl 1V. Israel's first NBA player, Omri Casspi, ran a basketball clinic for 100 Israeli and Palestinian Arab children in the annual event of the Twinned Peace Basketball Schools project. Whilst on the subject of sports, it is interesting to point out that in February, in the Palestinian territories, Arab women celebrated the inauguration of the new women’s football league.

Poll: Jerusalem Arabs prefer Israel

US poll: 39% of east Jerusalem Arabs prefer to live under Israeli sovereignty; 30% didn't answer
Yitzhak Benhorin Published: 01.13.11, 00:31 / Israel News

WASHINGTON – The future of Jerusalem is considered one of the core issues in Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and one of the most significant obstacles to a permanent agreement between the two sides. However, it appears that on the Palestinian side, those who live in Jerusalem have already made their decision on the matter – and the Palestinian Authority leadership in Ramallah may not like it.

A public opinion poll carried out by American Pechter Middle East Polls for the Council on Foreign Relations together with the head of the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion, Dr. Nabil Kukali, showed that if Jerusalem were divided as part of a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, east Jerusalem Arabs would prefer to live under Israeli sovereignty.

"Oppressor" Israel Teaches Palestinians/Jordanians Desalinization Technology

Look how Israel treats the Palestinian Arabs: Part 2
Michael Ordman

I was astonished to discover over 60 positive news stories since July 2010 that never appeared anywhere except in the Israeli press. In this issue, I have just selected the areas that Israel has worked to bring environmental and economic assistance to the Palestinian Arabs.

In the Middle East, water is sometimes more important than blood. In Arab-Israeli peace talks, a whole track is devoted to the issue of fair distribution of water rights. Prior to the six-day war in 1967, most Arabs living in Judea and Samaria had no main water as Jordan was uninterested in providing them access to this vital resource. By 1991, 210 Arab towns in the territories had been connected to a running water system and Israel had transformed their farming using modern irrigation techniques. Just last month (June), Israelis, Palestinian Arabs and Jordanians built EcoCentres to make the most of scarce water supplies. Students from Israel, the PA, Malta, Lebanon, Tunisia, Italy, Greece, Turkey and the UK are working together currently on a project to protect their unique shared ecosystem.

Palestinian Arab Population Doubles Under Israeli "Ethnic Cleansing"

Look how Israel treats the Palestinian Arabs

Michael Ordman

Contrary to what you may have been told, Israel is not conducting ethnic cleansing or the genocidal destruction of the Palestinian Arabs in Judea and Samaria. How can this be proved? Just look at the population statistics for the number of Arabs in the Territories (2.4 million). Even allowing for claims of PA double-counting, this still represents at least a two-fold increase in the numbers of Arabs in 1967. So if Israel was trying to eliminate these Arabs, they’re doing a pretty poor job of it. In any case, the Palestinian Authority rules in the West Bank Territories, and the Hamas terrorist organization runs Gaza.

Audacity of Dopes’ PLAN B – invade Israel through Ben-Gurion Airport

A group of anti-Israeli pro-Palestinian organizations and activists from the territories and abroad are planning to organize a “consciousness-raising event” at the Ben-Gurion Airport and in Judea and Samaria on July 8.

Meir Amit - The project is the initiative of 15 groups and organizations in Judea and Samaria and abroad, most of them local and Palestinian.

1. Conspicuous among them is the (Communist)International Solidarity Movement (ISM), an international network which belongs to the coalition directing the campaign to delegitimize Israel and which specializes in obstructing the activities of the Israeli security forces in the territories. It has a central role in sending activists from abroad to friction points in the territories such as the villages Bila’in and Ni’lin and its senior members have important positions in organizing the flotillas to the Gaza Strip within the framework of the FGM.

Pro-Palestinian "Peace" Activists Clash With Israeli Defense Forces

Terrorist sympathizers from around the world, foiled in their attempts to break the Israeli Blockade by sea, have now focused their energies on entering Israel by an "air flotilla", landing a Ben-Gurion airport. These "peaceful" activists, supported by the leftist media, fail to advertise that one of their main backers is the communist organization International Solidarity Movement, a group whose aim is to delegitimize Israel. Other groups which are part of this "airtilla", one of which is Code Pink, made up of useful idiots for Marxists and Anarchists and which is led by self-loathing Judenrat Medea Benjamin, were also participants in the beginning of the Islamist uprising in Cairo to overthrow Mubarrak.  Useful idiots in the mainstream media and President Obama, who is behaving more anti-Israel by the day, labeled this as the "Arab Spring" democracy movement, but which is looking more and more like the birth-pangs of a new Islamic caliphate.

Organizers claim that pro-Palestinian activists who managed to pass border control at Ben-Gurion Airport gather in Nabi Saleh along with local Palestinians; IDF uses tear gas to disperse protesters.

Pro-Palestinian activists that managed to pass border control at Ben-Gurion Airport as part of the "air flotilla" arrived in the West Bank on Saturday and clashed with security forces in Nabi Saleh, organizers claimed.

The incident began when a group of settlers, accompanied by security forces, went to a local spring in the area. Over 150 protesters, including those that took part in the "air flotilla," gathered at the scene, the organizers said. IDF soldiers reacted by firing tear gas in an attempt to disperse the protesters.

New DNC Chair Faults GOP for Wanting Illegal Immigration to be a Crime

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is breathtaking to watch. Not in a physical way, but in her intellectual vapidity. Earlier in the week she commented that pro-life Republicans are "anti women" for voting to cut funding to Planned Parenthood. But apparently the hatred only extends to Republicans, for when she was asked if being anti-women extended to her pro-life Democrat colleagues, she stated< "No". Her latest venture into incoherence has her accusing conservatives of wanting to make illegal immigration "a crime". This, after making the asinine statement that illegal immigrants are the "backbone of our economy". The "backbone"? Really? In fairness to Wasserman-Schultz, she does use the politically correct term "undocumented aliens" when referring to those in the country illegally, thus making her argument sound slightly less moronic.

She also dismisses a question about a recent exchange with the Republican Jewish Coalition with pert giggle, a nice tactic to show that her more conservative Jewish friends are not to be taken seriously regarding their concern that the Obama Administration has taken a decidedly more hostile stance with our longtime ally Israel, and is now more pro-Palestinian. During a joint meeting with the RJC and other Jewish groups, which included Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, Wasserman-Schultz asked that the Obama Administration's hostile stance towards Israel not be made an issue in the 2012 campaign. In other words: "Just shut up"! She never fully answers the question, but bloviates about her personal pride in being the first Jewish head of the DNC. However she never gets around to addressing how she can support an administration that has time and again been either luke-warm, or outright hostile, to Israel and it's leaders. Where was she when President Obama left Prime Minister Netanyahu to "go to lunch" on his initial trip to the White House? Not a word from then-Representative Wasserman-Schultz on the President's deplomatic 'slap in the face' our ally.

Wasserman-Schultz continues a long-line of political hacks to have held the position of DNC Chair. The fact that, as a "proud Jewish woman", she is willing to throw Israel under the bus for this, or any President, is a disgrace on so many levels.

Obama State Department: Jerusalem Not Part Of Israel?

Posted by Brian
The chasm between what the Obama Administration says, and what they do regarding Israel continues to grow, with each apparent step forward being countered by either Presidential speeches, or documents such as this being discovered at the State Department.

Does Obama Think Jerusalem is Outside Israel?

by Gil Ronen
h/t to Arutz Sheva

The United States State Department is standing behind the wording of an official statement that implied that Jerusalem – including its western parts - is not a part of Israel. Against the backdrop of President Barack Obama's speech calling on Israel to return to the 1949 Armistice lines, the statement's implications appear more alarming.

The May 18 statement was cited in a Weekly Standard column by Eliot Abrams, a former foreign policy advisor for presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush.

Abrams wrote:

“In what country is the Knesset?… [I]t seems that this question has stumped the State Department. It does not know or will not say what country the Knesset is in, nor—one must assume—does it know what country the Prime Minister’s Office, the Israel Museum, or especially the Western Wall are in.

Obama's newest ambush
By Caroline B. Glick
http://www.jewishworldreview.com/

It is hard to believe, but it appears that in the wake of the Palestinian unity deal that brings the genocidal, al Qaida-aligned, local franchise of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Hamas into a partnership with Fatah, US President Barack Obama has decided to open a new round of pressure on Israel to give away its land and national rights to the Palestinians. It is hard to believe that this is the case. But apparently it is.

On Wednesday The Wall Street Journal reported that while Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is in Washington next week, and before the premier has a chance to give his scheduled address to a joint session of Congress, Obama will give a new speech to the Arab world. In that speech, Obama will praise the populist movements that have risen up against Arab tyrannies and embrace them as the model for the future. As for Israel, the report claimed that the Obama administration is still trying to decide whether the time is right to put the screws on Israel once more.
