NY Councilwoman: Jews At Fault For Knockout Attacks By Blacks

Ignorant? Racist? Anti-Semitic? Just plain stupid? It's hard to say which adjective(s) is/are more applicable, though all of them certainly fit. Not due to be sworn in until January, the Councilwoman-elect from Crown Heights, Laurie Cumbo, sent out a letter from her office saying that knockout attacks on Jews by blacks may actually be the fault of the Jews themselves and the actual growth of Jews in the community. Her letter, which she also posted on Facebook (read here), states :
"Many African American/Caribbean residents expressed a genuine concern that as the Jewish community continues to grow, they would be pushed out by their Jewish landlords or by Jewish families looking to purchase homes. I relayed these sentiments at the forum not as an insult to the Jewish community, but rather to offer possible insight as to how young African American/Caribbean teens could conceivably commit a “hate crime” against a community that they know very little about.
I admire the Jewish community immensely. I am particularly inspired by the fact that the Jewish community has not assimilated to the dominant American culture, and has preserved their religious and cultural values while remaining true to themselves. I respect and appreciate the Jewish community’s family values and unity that has led to strong political, economic and cultural gains. While I personally regard this level of tenacity, I also recognize that for others, the accomplishments of the Jewish community triggers feelings of resentment, and a sense that Jewish success is not also their success."
The letter comes across as a typical milquetoast politician's straddling of the issue, calling for zero-tolerance for those who commit these attacks, and yet attempting to provide a plausible excuse for their behavior, and blaming it on the very people they have been attacking!
Rabbi Chanina Sperlin strongly condemned her remarks, saying, “I saw her letter. I told her I totally disagree. ”I think she has a lot to learn in this community….she’s coming in on such a left foot, and she didn’t even step into the City Council yet. I don’t know where the wild dream is coming from that Jewish people want to kick African-Americans out of their houses…but it’s definitely not coming from the Jewish community.
This is quite a difference from September of this year, when Rabbi Sperlin, Chairman of The Political Action Committee of Crown Heights, the most active political group in the Jewish Community of Crown Heights, endorsed her candidacy for City Council, and stating, “Laurie has really made an effort to reach out to the Jewish residents of the District. She understands the issues that our families face and she has made the alliances necessary to get things done."
I wonder if he and the rest of the liberal Jewish community in Crown Heights and New York City still feel that she "understands" their issues as she throws them under the bus for being victims, while simultaneously asking that they understand the criminal mindset of their attackers? All before she has even been sworn into office!
Cumbo also blamed the media for drawing attention to the "Knockout Game" attacks. If these attacks, which have been reported in St. Louis, Philadelphia, NewYork City and elsewhere, are the fault of Jews "taking over" her neighborhoods, why are they so widespread, and not just a local problem?
Again, why do we as Americans think politicians are so damn smart? I counter that they aren't smarter than the rest, they just have less shame about begging for money.

Education Fail: College Students Clueless On What The Holocaust Was and Where It Took Place

COMMON CORE: New York High School Assignment, Why "Jews Are Evil"

Students in an Albany, NY high school were asked to write an essay explaining why "Jews are evil", as part of an English writing assignment. Fully one-third of the students refused to complete the assignment, so offensive was the concept, and the teacher has been put on leave and faces disciplinary action (Not fired?).
Once again, we discover that one of our public schools is going way beyond the pale in one of their assignments to our youth. This latest outrage comes courtesy of the Federal Government's latest assault on students, the Common Core federally coerced national curriculum, which is driven by UNESCO and Agenda 21, both international movements pushing for the implementation of One-World Government.
The teacher in the Albany school proposed this "exercise" to the students.
"You need to pretend that I am a member of the government in Nazi Germany, and you are being challenged to consider that you are loyal to the Nazis by writing an essay convincing me that Jews are evil and the source of our problems."
Supposedly, this little exercise is meant to cause students to think outside of the box. I can think of a lot of ways to accomplish that without students being forced to see things through the eyes of the Nazi's, and then come up with arguments to morally justify mass murder.
But this is only one in a series of incidents in which students are tasked with anti-American, anti-Semitic, and pro-Marxist/Socialist assignments. Each time it is reported as "outrageous", but at what point does it cease to be merely outrageous, and begin to sink in with the American public, that these seemingly unconnected things are more common than we realize, and that it is happening every day in schools across the nation?
In Texas it was discovered that an assignment from the controversial CScope curriculum taught fifth graders that the U.S. was to blame for 9/11. Also out of Texas and CScope was an assignment having 6th graders design a flag for a new socialist nation.
Fortunately there is heavy backlash against CScope in Texas as parents and others find out more and more about its anti-American curriculum.
However, Common Core curriculum has only recently been exposed for its leftist , anti-American curriculum, which is only a small part of the controversy surrounding it. The first red flag that went up is the Obama Administration's bypassing of Congress and State Legislatures to bribe Governors with No Child Left Behind Waivers, stimulus money, and the withholding of Title I funds, to adopt the program for their states. The governors were given a very limited amount of time to sign on, or they would lose them. Oh, and by the way, governors were to make this decision sight unseen, as the curricula standards and assessment tests were not provided.
Common Core has as part of its implementation a K-12 data collection of every student. This does NOT just track grades, attendance, etc. It includes the collection of Biometrics (DNA, fingerprints, iris patterns), parents income, whether there are firearms in the home (and how many), medical records and data, what organizations the child and their family belong to (Tea Party?), and a slew of other data that have absolutely nothing to do with education. All of this information will be kept in a federal government administered centralized database. (For more comprehensive information on Common Core, click here)
As appalling as this incident in New York is, it is only the symptom of a much larger agenda going on in our school districts nationwide, right under our noses, with virtually no advertisement by the media, the educational system, or the government. This alone should raise a red flag for every American. If it's so great, why are they not shouting it from the rooftops, but instead are implementing it under the cover of darkness?

Pelosi: Republicans Exploiting Jews! That's Our Job, Dammit!

Nancy Pelosi and the Dems are increasingly indicating their concerns about the upcoming election.
And they should be. Key constituencies are indicating a move away from the Democrats this year, especially in contrast to 2008. The gender gap and the age gap are both showing a move away from the Democrats. The Jewish vote, though the GOP won't win a majority, is seeing a sizable shift to the GOP, at least in the short-term. Blacks, which voted overwhelmingly for Obama in 2008, in numbers only seen in countries like Iraq under Saddam Hussein, are seeing either some movement to the GOP, or a general apathy in voting this election.
So, what is Nancy Pelosi to do? To tell Jewish voters that they are too 'smart' to be 'exploited' by the Republicans. See Video Here

It wasn’t long ago that the White House was angering Israeli leaders with statements seen as critical. But 2012 is an election year, and that makes all the difference.
It was one of those moments you could experience only at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) annual conference. At the lectern was Susan Rice, President Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations. In the audience were 300 rabbis, Jewish-community leaders, and AIPAC delegates who were allowed to attend Rice’s speech, an event left off the public agenda for the conference.
Listening to the speech, it would be hard to discern that Rice had caused a stir with the Israeli government little more than a year ago. At that time, Israeli officials didn’t like her remarks at all. Following an American veto of a resolution condemning Israeli settlement activity in the occupied Palestinian territories, Rice had explained the vote like this: “While we agree with our fellow council members—and indeed, with the wider world—about the folly and illegitimacy of continued Israeli settlement activity, we think it unwise for this council to attempt to resolve the core issues that divide Israelis and Palestinians. We therefore regrettably have opposed this draft resolution.”

Anti-Israeli Rally In Cairo: "Kill All The Jews"

Over 5,000 people marched in a rally in Cairo to promote "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization", with calls from attendees to "kill all the Jews".
Ynet reported:
"In order to build Egypt, we must be one. Politics is insufficient. Faith in Allah is the basis for everything," he said. "The al-Aqsa Mosque is currently under an offensive by the Jews…we shall not allow the Zionists to Judaize al-Quds (Jerusalem.) We are telling Israel and Europe that we shall not allow even one stone to be moved there."
Back in March of this year, the Obama Administration was praising the riots in Egypt and across the Middle East, proclaiming it an "Arab Spring". Eight days into the riots the Obama Administration was calling on Hosni Mubarak to step down. Liberal in the U.S. and in Europe were thrilled with this "democracy" movement that was sprouting up across the Middle East, from Yemen to Libya. To the cheerleaders on the left, it never occurred to them that these were not spontaneous uprisings, but an organized movement. They were, and still are incurious as to who might be behind them. To these leftist morons the protestors were just people yearning for freedom. It was spontaneous and grass roots. It never even occurred to these useful idiots that the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, and Iran might be the catalyst and the organization behind the nearly simultaneous eruptions across the Middle East. All of the so-called "news" organizations were simply reporting what they were told by the Obama Administration and from press releases from the Muslim Brotherhood, who assured everybody that they were just a "very small minority" of the protestors, and that they had no designs on taking over the Egyptian government.
Nobody saw this coming...except some of those on the right. Talk radio (Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh), the alternative conservative media on the web, including a lot of us in the blogosphere, were saying that Cairo and the other uprisings were not spontaneous, nor necessarily a good thing. The power vacuums left behind would be filled in by radicals who would be most likely backed by Iran, and the most extreme Islamists, who will set up Islamic states ruled by Sharia, and who have an ultimate goal of a worldwide caliphate.
For a look into the minds of who we are dealing with, and what so many either don't want to, or simply refuse to see: An elementary teacher who spoke to Ynet gave this chilling look inside the minds of our enemy:
"Why is the US losing in Afghanistan? Because the other side is willing and wants to die. We have a different mentality than that of the Americans and Jews," he said.
Ynet reported:
Speakers at the event delivered impassioned, hateful speeches against Israel, slamming the "Zionist occupiers" and the "treacherous Jews." Upon leaving the rally, worshippers were given small flags, with Egypt's flag on one side and the Palestinian flag on the other, as well as maps of Jerusalem's Old City detailing where "Zionists are aiming to change Jerusalem's Muslim character."
Spiritual leader Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb charged in his speech that to this day Jews everywhere in the world are seeking to prevent Islamic and Egyptian unity.
There were also chants from activists of: "Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, Judgement Day has come!"
Nobody saw this coming...except some of those on the right. Talk radio (Glenn Beck, Mark Levin, Rush Limbaugh), the alternative conservative media on the web, including a lot of us in the blogosphere, were saying that Cairo and the other uprisings were not spontaneous, nor necessarily a good thing. The power vacuums left behind would be filled in by radicals who would be most likely backed by Iran, and the most extreme Islamists, who will set up Islamic states ruled by Sharia, and who have an ultimate goal of a worldwide caliphate.

David Ainsman really began to get worried about President Barack Obama’s standing with his fellow Jewish Democrats when a recent dinner with his wife and two other couples — all Obama voters in 2008 — nearly turned into a screaming match.
Ainsman, a prominent Democratic lawyer and Pittsburgh Jewish community leader, was trying to explain that Obama had just been offering Israel a bit of “tough love” in his May 19 speech on the Arab Spring. His friends disagreed — to say the least.
One said he had the sense that Obama “took the opportunity to throw Israel under the bus.” Another, who swore he wasn’t getting his information from the mutually despised Fox News, admitted he’d lost faith in the president.

DNC Chairwoman Wasserman-Schultz Tries To Put Gag On Republican Jewish Coalition

Wasserman-Schultz, perhaps an even bigger partisan hack than former DNC Chair Howard Dean (if that's possible), showed her political ass in a meeting with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Clearly she is desperate in trying to effectively stifle debate in the Jewish community, as the Obama Administration and many in the Democrat leadership have a lukewarm, if not outright hostile, relationship with Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu. She must know that sooner or later, many in the Jewish community are no longer going to give blind allegiance to a party that continues to spit in the eye of Israel and the American Jewish community.

With the PM present, Wasserman Schultz point blank asked the RJC to “pledge” they would refrain from using Israel as a campaign issue. Matt Brooks, RJC executive director, likened it to hijacking “these meeting in order to, in front of the prime minister, put a gag order in effect to prevent us from speaking out on Israel.”

It is highly unusual for a sitting DNC chair to try to use a foreign prime minister to pressure another political group to act in a way that she deems appropriate. But this seems to have been what happened yesterday.
Asked about Netanyahu’s reaction, Brooks said Netanyahu was “clearly uncomfortable and at one point said, ‘do you guys want me to leave the room and give you guys some privacy?’”

Oliver Stone: "Hitler did far more damage to the Russians than the Jewish people

What little shred of respect I may have had for Oliver Stone as a director has evaporated. He has proven to be a writer and producer of left-wing conspiracies and propaganda in movies such as "Born On The Fourth Of July", Platoon, and his other films, but I would give him leeway for "artistic" license. But, trying to resurrect the image of a man who oversaw a systematic slaughter of millions of Jews is beyond the pale. Stone has gone round the bend and is now a full-fledged leftist propaganda minister. Joseph Goebbels would be proud.
