MSNBC: Wisconsin Dem Claims GOP Requiring a pre-Abortion Ultrasound is just like the Taliban

Posted by Brian
H/T to The Blaze

Wisconsin State Sen. Lena Taylor
On MSNBC, Ed "putty face" Schultz said that Republicans are ramping up the "War on Women", and are putting and "iron fist to democracy".
Finding a sympathetic ear in comrade Schultz, Wisconsin State Representative Lena Taylor made the following ridiculous statement:

"This is no different than when I went to Turkey and heard of what the women in the Middle East are experiencing with the Taliban".

Really Representative Taylor? No difference? So,requiring an ultrasound is comparable to having a forced clitorectomy? An ultrasound is just like women in the Middle East being jailed for having the audacity to be raped? Or maybe it's just like getting acid thrown in her face if a breeze blows her hijab,  exposing her face to a male member of her society?
This is the type of extreme crap that the left use as talking points, confident that the Ed Schultz' of the world won't even bother to challenge such a ludicrous comment.
One blogger on the left, who I'm sure thinks of himself as intellectual,  even called a pre-abortion ultrasound as non-medical "RAPE"! Maybe this guy should go talk to some actual rape victims before positing such an asinine comparison.
But this is the schizophrenia seen on the left, who on the one hand remind us of how wonderful and peaceful these islamists are, labeling those who disagree as islamophobes, and in the same breath talk of their war on women, and how brutal they are.
Trying to follow the "logic" of these leftists is like playing a game of intellectual "Twister". "Right brain, 'Red'". "Left brain, 'green'".

WIS. DEMOCRAT COMPARES REPUBLICAN COLLEAGUES TO THE TALIBAN ON MSNBC
Jun. 17, 2013 12:46pm Becket Adams

A Wisconsin Democrat over the weekend compared her Republican colleagues to the Taliban for supporting and passing a bill that would require women to get an ultrasound before being allowed to have an abortion.
During the debate over the bill last week, lawmakers and demonstrators who opposed the measure shouted and protested loudly, leading to the forcible removal of certain protesters from the senate gallery, TheBlaze reported.  And according to Democrat State Senator Lena Taylor, her Republican colleagues behaved just like the Taliban.

Islamist Watch: CAIR Bullies Teacher for saying Taliban and Hamas Use Violence to Bully People

CAIR intimidates teacher, rally planned in her defense
MARCH 16, 2013BY: CHRISTOPHER COLLINS

Nihad Awad, Executive Director of CAIR, which is suspected of being a front group for the Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR were unindicted co-conspirators of giving  financial backing to terrorist groups such as Hamas
Mary Janda, a veteran teacher of 21 years at the Concrete Middle School in Concrete, Washington, is under attack by the radical Washington affiliate of Hamas-connected Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), accusing her of racism against Muslims, ACT! For America’s founder and President Brigitte Gabriel reported yesterday.

The alleged incident occurred last October but the radical Islamic group began last month calling for federal investigators to look into the Concrete School District after the allegations that the teacher, Mary Janda, made racist remarks.

The district called the allegations completely false.

“Her “offense?”, “said Gabriel. “During a class discussion on bullying, she referred to Hamas and the Taliban as examples of organizations that use violence to “bully people. Of course they are.”

One of the students in her class objected and said, “My father is a Muslim and these statements aren’t true.”  Gabriel said,

“Hamas is a terrorist organization and the Taliban is who we’re fighting in Afghanistan! The school district investigated the incident and correctly concluded Ms. Janda did nothing wrong. But CAIR-Washington jumped into the fray, alleging “racism,” contacting the media, and even demanding a Justice Department civil rights investigation.”

Taliban accidentally CCs everybody on its mailing list

Posted by Brian

Man! I hate it when that happens!  Bwaaahaaahaaaahaaaaahaaaaa!!

You did WHAT??
Posted By Uri Friedman   Friday, November 16, 2012 - 1:10 PM

Living in fear of "replying all" to your company-wide emails? Hey, it could be worse. ABC News reports:

In a Dilbert-esque faux pax, a Taliban spokesperson sent out a routine email last week with one notable difference. He publicly CC'd the names of everyone on his mailing list.

The names were disclosed in an email by Qari Yousuf Ahmedi, an official Taliban spokesperson, on Saturday. The email was a press release he received from the account of Zabihullah Mujahid, another Taliban spokesperson.

Ahmedi then forwarded Mujahid's email to the full Taliban mailing list, but rather than using the BCC function, or blind carbon copy which keeps email addresses private, Ahmedi made the addresses public.

Obama In Kabul: Taliban: We've Turned The Tide", Taliban Bombs Kabul Compound

Attack in Response To Obama Visit, Taliban Says

A day after saying that he was not using the anniversary of Bin Laden's death as a campaign issue, the President headed to Kabul Afghanistan for a victory lap, once again using the U.S. military as a PR backdrop for an eleven-minute speech.

Obama stated, "Over the last three years, the tide has turned.  We broke the Taliban's momentum. We've built strong Afghan security forces."  In an ironic twist, a few hour later the Taliban attacked a compound housing foreign contractors, killing seven.  Karma's a bitch!

Obama also fell back into his narcissistic ways, saying "The goal that I set – to defeat al-Qaeda and deny it a chance to rebuild – is now within our reach.” The goal that he set? I guess this is another issue where Bush will not get any credit.  Obama reserves only blame and derision for his predecessor.  But let's not forget that it was the Bush policies of rendition and advanced interrogation techniques (ie. waterboarding) that allowed us to get the information which identified the courier who led us to the Abattabad compound where Bin Laden was holed up.

Regardless of what Obama said, this was a campaign stop.  He's trying to burnish his credentials of being a pro-military President, while his policies and words indicated a lukewarm tolerance of our men and women in uniform.

While some, like Chris Matthews, saw this trip as reminiscent of Henry V of England rallying the troops, the Taliban must have seen Neville Chamberlain, while sending Obama a message of their own.

Obama & Media Omit That Burned Quran's Were 'Defaced' With Taliban Messages

Posted by Brian

While President Obama was out kissing Hamid Karzai's ass for the burning of Quran's by U.S. troops, he and the media were spinning the story by omitting a crucial fact - that the Quran's had been defiled by Taliban prisoners who had used their "holy" books to pass messages.  Obama had to know this information at the time that he was twisting himself into a pretzel to kowtow to a bunch of people who choose to remain living in 11th century living conditions.
Obama is only too quick to show America as bending over and grabbing our collective ankles every time the military is perceived by some tin-pot dictator to have committed a foreign policy faux pas.
If anything, Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai should be apologizing to the United States for the deaths of four servicemen by a country of crazed religious lunatics and savages.
The only thing that America should apologize for is that we elected this sorry SOB to be our President.

Why Is the U.S. Apologizing for Scorched Qurans?
Diane West

I've got it.
We've come a long way since the days of the Global War on Terror. Frankly, the GWOT -- whatever that was supposed to mean (how do you fight against a tactic?) -- is so 10 years ago. "Terror," meanwhile, has morphed into "extremism," but that's only made things more unclear. We still don't know what it's all supposed to be about.
Until today.
Mr. and Mrs. America, boys and girls, welcome to the Global War on Quran-Burning, as led by the United States Masochists To Make the World Safe for Shariah (Islamic law).
If a column could have special effects, this is where piercing beams of sunlight would dispel clouds of confusion as pink bunnies jump up and down, squeaking, "That's it, that's it!" And a sigh of relief would spread across the happy valley ...

Obama To Release High Level Taliban From Gitmo for Taliban Opening "Peace Office" in Qatar

WTF!!!

Taliban leaders held at Guantánamo Bay to be released in peace talks deal

US agrees in principle to releasing top officials from Afghanistan insurgent group in exchange for starting process of negotiations

The US has agreed in principle to release high-ranking Taliban officials from Guantánamo Bay in return for the Afghan insurgents' agreement to open a political office for peace negotiations in Qatar, the Guardian has learned.

According to sources familiar with the talks in the US and in Afghanistan, the handful of Taliban figures will include Mullah Khair Khowa, a former interior minister, and Noorullah Noori, a former governor in northern Afghanistan.
More controversially, the Taliban are demanding the release of the former army commander Mullah Fazl Akhund. Washington is reported to be considering formally handing him over to the custody of another country, possibly Qatar.
The releases would be to reciprocate for Tuesday's announcement from the Taliban that they are prepared to open a political office in Qatar to conduct peace negotiations "with the international community" – the most significant political breakthrough in ten years of the Afghan conflict.

Obama’s Peace Partners, the Taliban, Attack Bagram Air Base on New Year’s Eve

Posted by Brian
Note to Ron Paul: This is what "reaching out" and "offering friendship" to our enemies brings - a perception on their part that we are weak, and continued attacks. You don't offer your enemies friendship. You defeat them with overwhelming, disproportionate force, thoroughly demoralizing them until they lose the will to fight and beg you to accept their surrender.  Remember the videos of shell-shocked Iraqi soldiers surrendering to news crews and US soldiers in Gulf War 1, their fighting spirit totally broken? That is what victory looks like.

From the Gateway Pundit:

“Look, the Taliban, per se, is not our enemy.”
- VP Joe Biden
December 2011
Two weeks ago the White House told us that the Taliban was not our enemy.

Iran Press TV reported that nine missiles were launched in the attack on Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan. There were initial reports of several casualties.

UPDATE: Press TV has more on the attack:

Joe Biden: The Taliban is not our enemy

by KAL EL on DECEMBER 20, 2011
Wow. I mean, it’s not like the Taliban gave safe haven to al Qaeda in the run up to, and after, 9-11. It’s not like they’ve been actively killing  our brave men and women in uniform for the past decade either.  Oh, wait…

White House Stands by Biden Statement That Taliban Isn’t U.S. Enemy

The White House on Monday defended Vice President Joe Biden for saying that the Taliban isn’t an enemy of the United States despite the years spent fighting the militant Islamic group that gave a home to Al Qaeda and its leader Usama bin Laden while he plotted the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

TAPS: 25 Navy SEALS Killed In Afghanistan

Posted by Brian
My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the 38 who were killed in the the crash of a Chinnook helicopter in eastern Afghanistan.  The members were apparently part of a raid when it was reportedly shot down by Taliban fighters, who have claimed responsibility for the act. This is another sad reminder of the sacrifices that our brave men and women make every single day for the security of not only our country, but in unselfishly defending those who have not the means to defend themselves in far away countries from tyrannical religious zealots and despots.
Well done, good and faithful servants.  Enter into your rest.
