The anti-gun hysteria over the Connecticut elementary school shootings is in full panic mode, and none is more irrational, or immune to facts and statistics than the ever-argumentative and condescending Soledad O'Brien. Despite being presented with numerous examples of how gun-free zones have been, without exception, been the targets of all of the major multiple victim shooting sprees in the country since the 1950's, or that the worst school shooting have occurred in the country with one of the most restrictive gun laws in the world, Germany, O'Brien's response? It doesn't matter. 'Guns bad'.
She is a perfect example of the liberal mindset. Facts don't matter. Thinking is not a requirement. Disengage the brain and react to all things emotionally. It's the "good intentions" that matter. That the same thing will continue to happen as a result of my feel-good liberal policies is not the point. The point is that I feel good about myself, because I care. And anyone who doesn't agree with me is a cold, heartless, irrational SOB.
CHALLENGE TO GUN CONTROL NARRATIVE RESULTS IN SOLEDAD O'BRIEN MELTDOWN
by JOHN NOLTE 17 Dec 2012, 6:08 AM PDT
CNN's Soledad O'Brien invited author and frequent Breitbart News contributor, John Lott, to come on her show this morning. It's pretty obvious that his recent appearances on other CNN shows, where he advocated for fewer gun control laws, had made her angry and that she saw this as an opportunity to take a whack at him. Soledad O'Brien is quickly becoming one of the biggest hacks in journalism. My guess is that she is able to get by with it because she is easy on the eyes. But it doesn't make it easy to watch her. Behind her smile is a condescending, elitist air. She is also thin-skinned and hostile to those with whom she disagrees. In her mind, she is the smartest, most prepared person in the room, her stack of "facts" from Wikipedia and Google laid out before her.
Soledad O'Brien makes no attempt to hide her disinterest in Bay Buchanan's answer.
In an infamous confrontation with Breitbart's Joel Pollack over Obama's relationship to Harvard Professor Derrick Bell and critical race theory, O'Brien was at her most acidic. O'Brien asked Pollack to define critical race theory, which he did, and then accused Pollack of not knowing what he was talking about. She then gave her own definition. The problem is that Pollack was correct, and O'Brien was wrong. As in other interviews with those whom she disagrees, she comes off as very full of herself, and of her moral and intellectual superiority. The interview descended into O'Brien and her guest accusing Pollack of racism. The typical liberal tactic when you're getting your ass handed to you in a debate.
This brings us to O'Brien's latest hack interview with Bay Buchanan over comments Mitt Romney made at a fundraiser. She starts out, not by quoting Romney, but by giving her "summary" of Romney's statement in the most negative light she can, Saying he doesn't "worry about 47% of the country," complete with snarled lips and facial expressions disgust. She does nothing to hide her bias, and is unwilling to even consider Bay Buchanan's logic: that Romney was speaking politically as to his ability to reach those 47% of voters, and get them to vote for him. Therefore, he needs to focus his message to the other 53%, especially the independent voters, in order to win the election. Of course, O'Brien's message is that Romney doesn't care at all for those 47% , and wishes they would just die.
You see, that's how all conservatives think according to O'Brien and her ilk. Yet she is totally unconcerned for the 47% of Americans that are dependent on government, or that the number continues to grow at an alarming rate, precisely because of liberal social policies and entitlement programs. It is the soft bigotry of low expectations, as stated by George W. Bush.
Transcript:
“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it.”
“That, that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax,” he continued, adding “so our message of low taxes doesn’t connect.”
“[M]y job is, is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”
Obama spokes-hack Ben LaBolt , appearing on CNN with Soledad O'brien, lies through his teeth, as he states that the Obama Administration "never" called the ObamaCare mandate a tax during oral arguments to the Supreme Court.
Figuring that O'Brien would not call him on his outright lie, as her research seems to be mostly fact-checking things on Wikipedia, O'Brien actually holds Labolt's feet to the fire, challenging him on several of his propaganda points.
OBAMA SPOKESMAN: HEY, WE NEVER REFERRED TO ‘OBAMACARE’ MANDATE AS A TAX DURING TRIAL (BUT WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE EVIDENCE)

H/T To Big Journalism
As if getting her lunch handed to her by Joel Pollack in an interview on Derek Bell and 'Critical Race Theory', and other interviews in which she shows, if not her bias, then her complete ignorance on the subjects she debates with guests, she now has the poor judgment to go on the 'Daily Show' and appear in a bigoted skit about 'rednecks.
Soledad' star is falling and, based on her tanking ratings, should be hitting pavement very soon.
GOT BIGOTRY?: CNN'S SOLEDAD O'BRIEN STARS IN SKIT RIPPING 'REDNECKS'
CNN's Soledad O'Brien who uses good looks to try and distract viewers from her liberal bias and vacuous intellect.
Monday, Soledad O'Brien's "Starting Point" couldn't clear 100k viewers in the coveted 25-54 demo or even a half-million total viewers.
The Daily Show" itself came in at #23 in the cable rankings with only 1.54 million total viewers.
You think maybe part of their viewership problem might have something to do with the cultural bigotry and intolerance displayed below? Continue Reading Here

Soledad O'Brien is on a roll. For the second time this week she attempts to impress her media vulture colleagues with her "hard-hitting" journalistic questions, while at the same time showing her personal and political bias.
CNN's O'Brien to Romney: Won't Your Immigration Stance Drive Latinos to Obama?
By: Matt Hadro
Wednesday, January 04, 2012 5:15 PM EST
CNN's Soledad O'Brien tried to make race an issue on Tuesday where there was no conflict to begin with, and she continued thumping Republicans over immigration on Wednesday's Starting Point. O'Brien asked candidate Mitt Romney if he was simply driving Latino voters to Obama with his immigration stance, and brought up the issue again in a later interview.
In her interview with Romney, O'Brien cited his opposition to the Dream Act and noted the large Latino voting bloc in Florida, the site of an upcoming GOP primary. "You know immigration is a big issue for Latino voters. When you tackle that, when you say something like that very publicly and very strongly, are you essentially handing those voters off to President Obama?" she pressed the candidate.
