Fresno police: Suspects mistakenly dial 911 during crime

Two Fresno men were in custody on Monday after accidentally dialing 911 on a cellphone before breaking into a car, authorities said.
After the mistaken "pocket" call, a police dispatcher was able to hear a rambling 35-minute conversation that went from trying to find a way to get drugs to breaking into a car.
"Get the bolt and give me the hammer just in case," one man said, as the dispatcher heard the apparent smashing of a car window to get at drugs inside the vehicle, KXTV-TV reported, citing a tape of the call.
"They're norcos! Yeee-ahh!" one man said.
Fresno police arrested Nathan Teklemariam and Carson Rinehart, both 20, on May 9 for investigation of burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of stolen property, Sgt. Jaime Rios said. Continue Reading at The Fresno Bee

I'm sure the Dearborn police are also serving kosher food and allowing yarmulkes to be worn to their Jewish inmates.

The nationwide shortage of ammunition has left many police departments scrambling to get their hands on the necessary rounds - with some even bartering among each other.
Meanwhile, Rep. Timothy Huelskamp (R-Kansas) says the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has failed to respond to multiple members of Congress asking why DHS bought more than 1.6 billion rounds in the past year. Read More at CNS News
The woman in this picture, along with numerous others, has been arrested for not allowing the utility company access to their property. The power company wants to install an electric smart meter at every home within their service area. These so called Smart Meters use radio frequencies to transmit usage data back to the power company.
Residents believe these meters pose a danger to their health because of the radio frequencies involved. This technology also has the potential to be exploited by others who
would be able to monitor power consumption, in graph form, and thereby enable
them to ascertain when the house is vacant, occupied, etc. They believe
that poses an additional threat to their safety and security.
Wouldn't it simply make sense to charge an extra fee to have someone read their meter in lieu of the smart meter? Wouldn't that meet everyone's needs in this case, rather than lock up people who feel unsafe?

The first Officer in this video appears to be very reasonable and even compassionate.
The Second Officer tells the woman taking the video that she's not been "given permission" to record him -even though there are numerous court rulings that establish it is your legal right to record any happening that takes place within view of the public, where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy.
Conduct like this by Government only damages the faith of it's Citizens

Occupy Oakland held a "F*ck The 4th" march, complete with burning of the American Flag spray painting police vehicles, government building, private businesses, and chants of "F*ck the police".

The Seattle Police Department on Thursday released video of what it said shows its side of theviolent clashes with Occupy protesters earlier this week, capturing protesters hurling bricks, flares and other dangerous items at officers.
Police deployed “flash bang” percussion grenades and pepper spray against protesters blocking the entrance to a Port of Seattle facility Monday, The Blaze previously reported.
