The "free press" can no longer be addressed as such. They don't even hide the fact that they are bought and paid for by the Democrat Party and other leftist organizations and individuals. The zeal with which they go after conservatives and Republicans for even minor infractions, or "perceived" wrongdoing, is non-existent when the violator is a liberal Democrat.
Democrat William Jefferson was caught in a money laundering scam, and though charged and convicted, the story was barely addressed by the media. Minnesota lawmaker Kerry Gauthier was caught have sex at a rest stop with a 17 year-old boy (read: statutory rape), and the news cycle on it was barely 24 hours. His punishment? He dropped out of his race for reelection. Yet, Republican Larry Craig "taps his foot" under a bathroom stall at an airport, allegedly attempting to solicit sex, and it's 24/7 coverage for days, until he is forced to resign.
Enter Kathleen Sebelius, who is caught using her position to campaign for Barack Obama, a violation of Federal law, and the press is uninterested. Taken by itself, this may seem a minor matter. Much ado about nothing. But taken with all of the other scandals with the Obama White House, like the killings in Libya, the "Fast and Furious" gun scandal, the leaking of Top Secret information from the White House, Solyndra, LightSquared, and God knows what else. The media doesn't care! It's get Obama reelected at any and all costs!
Sean Hannity declared in 2008 that the "media died". I disagree. They didn't die. They are alive and well, operating as a Soviet-style state-run media, parroting White House propaganda to the masses like good little communists.
Reporters haven’t asked about Sebelius breaking law in W.H. briefings
A review of transcripts by The Daily Caller indicate that no questions have been asked by the reporters who cover the president about Sebelius during official White House briefings or gaggles since Sept. 12, when the U.S. Office of Special Counsel said in a report that the cabinet secretary violated the Hatch Act earlier this year.
