Kessler: FBI "Outraged" Petraeus Scandal Covered Up Until After Election

Ron Kessler on Petraeus Resignation: "There Are Several Cover-Ups Going On"
Ronald Kessler, Chief Washington Correspondent for NewsMax, spoke with FOX News tonight. Kessler said, "There are several cover-ups going on here. One is the claim that the President Obama was not aware of what was going on with the FBI investigation... Simply look at the facts. Is there any way the FBI would launch an investigation on the CIA Director without telling the president? The second cover-up was the fact that the FBI was told to hold off on this until after the election. I was told in early October that the FBI was outraged about this... It started in a very strange way. The FBI came across emails on his military email account in which he referred to doing something under the desk. And there was a misinterpretation that that meant corruption, something under the table. It actually meant sex under the desk.

Former CIA Officer: White House Is Lying About Petraeus Scandal

Former CIA Officer Gary Bernstein told Fox News that the White House is "lying" about when they knew about the affair which caused CIA Director David Petraeus to resign the day after the election.

Bernstein says that for the FBI to be "intercepting e-mails and reading the CIA Director emails and not reporting that to the White House is bull!"

The implication in all of this is that the White House has known, and has been holding this over Petraeus' head, in effect blackmailing him, as a means to keep him from testifying to Congress on what he knows about Benghazi, and the White House's role regarding a lack of support to the four American's killed in the attack, as well as what intelligence there was prior to the attack which may have prevented the deaths.

It has already been established that the original reason given by the Obama Administration for the attack, that it was because of a YouTube video which insulted Mohammed, was patently false, and in fact caused riots across the Middle East after the White House brought it to the forefront.

In addition, there have now been leaks, including from Petraeus' mistress, that the attacks were aimed at a secret CIA prison, or that the Obama Administration was engaging in a type of gun-running operation to jihadists which would be used to oust Syrian dictator Assad, and that this is the real reason that the Administration has been involved in a misinformation campaign and coverup about what really happened and the reason behind it.

Benghazi Attack: Obama Admin Denied Requests For Help

It is now known that the White House watched the Benghazi attack on a live video feed, as Americans asking for help which was within less than an hour away,  were denied that help three times!  In fact, they were told to stand down!  Stand down from what! So that they could, as their counterparts in Washington were doing, watch Ambassador Stevens being slaughtered by, who we now know were, al Qaeda!
This is criminal!

EXCLUSIVE: CIA operators were denied request for help during Benghazi attack, sources say

Fox News (video) has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. Consulate and subsequent attack several hours later was denied by officials in the CIA chain of command -- who also told the CIA operators twice to "stand down" rather than help the ambassador's team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were part of a small team who were at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. Consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When they heard the shots fired, they radioed to inform their higher-ups to tell them what they were hearing and requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. They were told to "stand down," according to sources familiar with the exchange. An hour later, they called again to headquarters and were again told to "stand down."

This scumbag should be tried and executed. Not only did he leak classified information, he leaked the identities of covert CIA operatives to al Qaeda detainees at Club Gitmo. The story mentions that he is a Senate Aide, but fails to mention that he is a Democrat (Shock!), or that he was hired by, and served as an investigator for none other than Sen. John Kerry (D-MA), the treasonous SOB who lied about his own Vietnam Brothers-In-Arms at Senate hearings in the 1970's. This piece of human excrement is also suspected of leaking information to the New York Times about the capture and interrogation of al Qaeda terrorists and the use of waterboarding as an interrogation method.

Oh, and he is a contributor to the Huffington Post, as well. He's got all of his leftist bases covered.

Former CIA officer charged in alleged leaks

The Justice Department on Monday charged a former CIA officer with repeatedly leaking classified information, including the identities of agency operatives involved in the capture and interrogation of alleged terrorists.

The case against John Kiriakou, who also served as a senior Senate aide, extends the Obama administration’s crackdown on disclosures of national security secrets. Kiriakou, 47, is the sixth target of a leaks-related prosecution since President Obama took office, exceeding the total number of comparable prosecutions under all previous administrations combined, legal experts said.
