RINO Tom Ridge Attacks Conservative Michelle Bachmann as "Unelectable"

Posted by Brian

The smears against Michelle Bachmann are just beginning.  ABC News is "investigating" her husbands Christian counselling business. She has been slammed as too conservative, inexperienced (which wasn't an issue with less-than-one-term Obama), she's too pretty, and other blather.
The criticisms and smears come from both the left and from establishment Republicans.
Now we have Tom Ridge, global warming nut and longtime RINO, smearing her from the good-old-boy GOP establishment.  It makes me wonder if he and Karl Rove flipped a coin over who could lob the first stink-bomb salvo.
You remember that Rove effectively sank Chritine O'Donnell's campaign on the night of her primary victory in Delaware, with his shameful hissy fit on the Fox's Hannity.  His candidate lost to a more conservative O'Donnell, and he excoriated her, the voters, and any others who were down range of his take-no-prisoners meltdown.
Ridge is going to be the first in a long line of the GOP establishment to take shots at Bachmann.  Other conservative candidates for state, local, and down-ballot tickets take note, as you won't be immune from the cannon fire.

Ridge, Rove, and the "compassionate" conservative crowd (Read: Democrat-lite) had their chance.  The conservatives are going to take back the mantle of the Republican Party and restore it, and the country, to its Constitutional and fiscal moorings.
Ridge slams Bachmann as inexperienced

Former Homeland Security chief Tom Ridge said Tuesday that fellow Republican Michele Bachmann, the Minnesota congresswoman who has been surging in the 2012 GOP presidential sweepstakes in recent weeks, was unelectable and unqualified to be commander-in-chief.

The former Pennsylvania governor issued the stinging assessment in an interview with The Washington Times on the sidelines of a conference of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition Tuesday.
