Not believing that he could sink any lower, President Obama has reached down into the muck to threaten senior citizens, veterans, and those on disability with withholding their pay checks. For those who think that this scumbag gives a crap about those on the lower end of the pay scale, this seals the deal as to where he is coming from. Breaking a sacred trust with retirees and veterans goes beyond the pale. He knows that there are non-essential services, in spades, that the government can cut back on in order to meet current debt obligations. This is mafioso-style or Stalinist behavior. As a veteran, I'm not fearful of this. I'm pissed! If he thinks that his Chicago-style politics is going to intimidate us out here in the political heartland, he has made a serious misjudgement. Jay Carney is out there talking about seniors having to make "Sophie's Choice" type decisions. For those unfamiliar with the movie, Sophie has to decide which of her children is sent to the death chamber and which goes to the concentration camp. Quite the visual coming from the White House.
These thugs need to be defeated in 2012. Not by a little. This needs to be an electoral tsunami that leaves no doubt as to the rejection of President Obama, his policies, and of the leftist/Marxist agenda.

President Obama on Tuesday said he cannot guarantee that retirees will receive their Social Security checks August 3 if Democrats and Republicans in Washington do not reach an agreement on reducing the deficit in the coming weeks.
"I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven't resolved this issue. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it," Mr. Obama said in an interview with CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley, according to excerpts released by CBS News.
