Image via WikipediaChris Matthews is making a habit of using violent, incendiary, slanderous rhetoric in describing anyone who is to the left of Chairman Mao. In his latest spittle laced rant, he compares the GOP to the Wahhabi sect of Islam. Wahhabism, which is the main Islamic sect in Saudi Arabia, and under which the Saudi's live under a Shari'a state, is considered the most violent of all Islamic sects.
Chris Matthews, who at one time tried to at least appear to be fair-minded in his debates, has now found his niche in ad hominem, character assassinating vitriolic diatribes. Apparently Chris thinks that if he is smiling while leveling baseless claims, that it convinces the audience that his target is not to be taken seriously. Based on his ratings, it appears more that what is left of his audience no longer takes him seriously. He has become a sad and pathetic clown.
