"Highball" with Chris Matthews: Criticizing Obama is UnConstitutional and Racist!

Posted by Brian
Maybe his show should be "Highball with Chris Matthews"
Here we go again.  Chris Matthews pulling out the race card again.  Discussing the Presidential debates with James Lipton of "Inside the Actors Studio, Chris Matthews reached into his racist bag again to smear Mitt Romney. Saying that Mitt Romney "looked down upon the President", he then said "we can only imagine what that was based upon". Only a fool would believe that that was not a not-so-veiled attempt at calling Mitt Romney a racist. Of course, to Chris Matthews any criticism by a conservative is based on their inherent racism, and couldn't possibly be based on legitimate policy disagreements.  And of course, any challenge to the President is considered rude and based on racism.
Earlier in the interview, Chris and Mr. Lipton are seen wringing their hands at the incivility in politics, and Mitt Romney in particular, with Chris claiming that it's now "unconstitutional" to challenge the President!
I don't know what Chris Matthews was like when he was drinking (he's supposedly stopped), but if this is how his mind works when he's sober, he must have been a hoot to hang out with when he was closing the bar.

Chris Matthews: 'I never said Tea Partiers were violent, but I meant it at the time'

The DC Trawler’s Jim Treacher brings us classic audio from Hardball host Chris Matthews, who, this morning, in an interview with Mary Katharine Ham on WMAL in D.C., tried to say he never fretted in 2009 that Tea Partiers might become violent. When MKH calls him out for a specific quote, he admits lamely, “Well, obviously, I meant it at the time.”

IOWA RADIO HOST CALLS OUT CHRIS MATTHEWS: ‘YOU’RE CLEARLY WORKING FOR THE RE-ELECTION OF BARACK OBAMA’

Conway: "I just want to make sure we're starting with some honesty".

Last night’s “Hardball” kicked off with a curious back and forth between host Chris Matthews andIowa talk radio host Simon Conway.
In the opening segment, Conway and Matthews were simulcasting on each other’s shows, in a segment that was intended to focus on the upcoming debate in Sioux City, Iowa. Conway is uniquely qualified to speak on the GOP candidates as he has interviewed almost all of them in the run-up to next month’s primary.

Is The Bloom Off The Rose For Chris Matthews and Obama?

If you listen carefully to Chris Matthews in this interview, he all but admits that he is in the tank for Obama. "Why are we in this fight with him?" "Commander, Give us our orders and tell us where we're going." He is incapable of admitting that this President is a failure, and his frustration is that Obama doesn't communicate enough.

Larry Elder Skewers Chris Matthews

Larry Elder interviews Chris Matthews and takes him to task for claiming to be a journalist, and yet he advocates for a certain political position. Chris Matthews is no more a journalist than he is a mouthpiece for the Democrat Party and Obama. Anyone who believes that Matthews is unbiased is obviously a fool, but great job to Larry Elder for magnifying the problem that Conservatives face in the media.

Chris Matthews: GOP are Scary ‘Wahhabis of American Government’

Chris Matthews at presidential debate in Dearb...Image via Wikipedia

Chris Matthews is making a habit of using violent, incendiary, slanderous rhetoric in describing anyone who is to the left of Chairman Mao.  In his latest spittle laced rant, he compares the GOP to the Wahhabi sect of Islam.  Wahhabism, which is the main Islamic sect in Saudi Arabia, and under which the Saudi's live under a Shari'a state, is considered the most violent of all Islamic sects.
Chris Matthews, who at one time tried to at least appear to be fair-minded in his debates, has now found his niche in ad hominem, character assassinating vitriolic diatribes.  Apparently Chris thinks that if he is smiling while leveling baseless claims, that it convinces the audience that his target is not to be taken seriously.  Based on his ratings, it appears more that what is left of his audience no longer takes him seriously.  He has become a sad and pathetic clown.
