Government wants "National ID Card"

When the Social Security system was started back in 1935, few envisioned that their new "Social Security Number" would  eventually be needed to have a phone, cable/satellite TV service, electric service, natural gas, life insurance, obtain a credit card, health care, purchase firearms, file taxes, obtain a job or to have a drivers license.  The Social Security Number has provided a key for nearly anyone to invade your privacy, destroy your credit and to unlock any private aspect of your life.  This is one of the reasons why identity theft is so widespread and rampant in this Country!

The Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal report that President Obama and at least 8 Senators are now calling for a National ID Card, with a computer chip and other biometric features, that would be issued to EVERYONE.  This is being sold under the guise of controlling immigration by enabling potential employers to establish immigration status.  We're providing education and healthcare for illegal immigration and now we're going to deny them employment, while at the same time refusing to deport them?  Yet another insult and burden to the American Citizens and Taxpayers!  At a time when significant parts of our border are unmanned or otherwise not controlled, as Obama threatens to pull even more Border Patrol and ICE Agents from our borders, Americans are now being asked to surrender another element of their Liberty.

Citizens need to realize that micro chipped cards would permit RFID sensors to be located along any roadway, bridge, sidewalk,  office, doorway, etc., to track the movement of EVERY CITIZEN in real time and through stored, collected data.  Is this really the kind of Country we want to live in?  What's next, we will all be assigned personal drones?  Americans need to LEARN FROM HISTORY and be INCREDIBLY CONCERNED!  Look what happened with a simple Social Security Card that was printed on paper...

What do you think will happen with a computer chipped National ID Card?  To think that this will not be used to COLLECT, CONTROL and INVADE every aspect of your privacy would be a complete denial of history!  Government control and overreach is OUT OF CONTROL.  The sheep need to wake-up before the Shepherds lead them to the slaughter...

NLRB To Force Businesses To Turn Over Workers Private Info To Unions?

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is said to be considering a rule that would affect 97% of private business in the country.  That rule would require that non-union businesses must provide the names, phone numbers, e-mails, and even work schedules to union organizers, presumably making it easier for union to organize non-union shops.
This would be an outrage!  Is this the Soviet Union?! Are the unions now just another arm of the federal government and the Democrats? The answer is: Yes.  Especially as Barack Obama and his marxist thugs see it.
Remember, this is the same NLRB who filed a lawsuit against Boeing to prevent them from building a 737 MAX jet at its plant in South Carolina, instead of Washington State. The reason? South Carolina is a "right to work" state.  That is, it is non-union.  For Boeing, the move made financial sense, as the costs of building the planes in South Carolina would be significantly lower. This didn't sit well with the Boeing employees in Washington, who along with the NLRB, filed suit.  Boeing eventually agreed to keep the production in Washington, the result of strong-arm tactics by a politicized agency packed with Obama leftists, which included former SEIU attorney Craig Becker (now with the AFL-CIO).
It is premature to say that this is a done deal, but nothing from this administration should be dismissed lightly.  This type of invasion of privacy by the Obama Administration, especially with their extremely close ties to the AFL-CIO, SEIU, and the Teamsters, is entirely believable.  In fact, it's entirely consistent with his whole policy and ideology.

*UPDATED: November 15, 2012–Now that the re-election of Barack Obama has taken place, this is back on the table.

President Barack Obama’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is considering a rule that would force private businesses to turn over their workers’ personal information — such as phone numbers, email addresses, and work schedules — to union organizers.  

While this rule would be intended to make it easier for union bosses to organize workers at businesses that do not have a union presence, it would also have the unintended effect of making workers vulnerable to harassment.
