Obama Forces Netanyahu to Apologize To Turkey for Defending Themselves

We may now have a better understanding of why Barack Obama made his trip to Israel. Al Jazeera is reporting that Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu has called the Turkish Prime Minister to apologize for "operational errors" during the raid on a Gaza flotilla ship in 2010, perhaps using U.S. support to stand with Israel on Iran as leverage.
During the raid, Israeli forces were attacked with metal pipes, slingshots, and bags filled with marbles as they dropped onto the deck from helicopters. During the skirmish, 9 Turkish activists of the so-called "humanitarian" Flotilla were killed, while 7 Israeli Naval commandos were injured.
Sounds like Obama's apology tour continues, with Netanyahu his apology surrogate.

Al Gore's Selling Current TV to Al Jazeera?

The man who "used to be the next President of the United States", Algore, is in talks to sell his Current TV, along with its twelve subscribers, to none other than Al Jazeera, the Islamist mouthpiece of the Middle East.
Thanks Al. Now all Americans can see firsthand anti-Semitic, jihadist propaganda in the comfort of their own home.
Perhaps Gore thinks if he appeases the Islamists, he will get twelve massage therapists when he gets to Paradise.

If the deal is completed, Current will provide the pan-Arab news giant with something it has sought for years: a pathway into American living rooms. Current is available in about 60 million of the 100 million homes in the United States with cable or satellite service.

Al Jazeera Produces Disgusting, Sympathetic Puff Piece On Osama Bin Laden

Recently, Columbia University bestowed its most prestigious award to Al Jazeera, the Middle East "News" organization that routinely sprinkles its stories with islamist propaganda.
Columbia's statement of praise included this:
"Al Jazeera English has performed a great service in bringing the English-speaking world in-depth coverage of the turmoil in the Middle East. We salute its determination to get to the heart of a complicated story unfolding in countries where news has historically been difficult to cover."
They went on to praise Al Jazeera for:
"overall depth and quality of its peerless coverage of the ongoing protests in the Middle East".
Yes, the "Arab Spring" democracy movement that Al Jazeera and other news organizations tuted as a "grassroots" movement, led by people who just wanted freedom, is proving to be as inaccurate as most other things they report. As Egypt is showing us all, the freedom movement there is in deep trouble as the Muslim Brotherhood has moved in quickly to fill the power vacuum, inserting themselves into the highest levels of the government. Egypt is quickly moving from a dictatorship which leaned, however slightly, to pro-Western ideals and pro-capitalist economic policies to what looks to be an Islamo-facist dictatorship with pro-Iranian leanings.
Some other highlights of Al Jazeera coverage:
- Comments by one of Al-Jazeera English’s stars, Riz Khan, who appeared on CNN and refused to call Hamas or Hezbollah terrorist organizations. “I am not one to judge,” Khan said.
- Aired a pro-terrorist video and had distorted the comments of British Prime Minister Tony Blair in an interview with David Frost.
- A report on Iraq that included footage of the ‘Islamic Army in Iraq’ going through drills and graduating a group of new soldiers.” The story glamorized the terrorists and was propaganda from start to finish.
Now we have this sympathetic look at Bin Laden from a news organization that the Obama Administration claims they watch to keep up on all the news from the Middle East:

Al Jazeera Capitalizes On Obama Administration Incoherence On Bin Laden Killing

When a person thinks of collossal collapses, one usually thinks of sports. The 1964 Phillies blowing a 6 and a half game lead with 12 games left in the season. The Houston Oilers blowing a 35-3 3rd quarter lead to the Buffalo Bills in the 1992 wild-card game. Greg Norman blowing a six stroke lead in the final round of the 1996 Masters.
I think we can add to that the inexplicable incompetence of the Obama Administration in putting out anything resembling a coherent, or consistent account of the operation which killed Osama Bin Laden. Talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of a certain political and PR victory. This is Michael Jordan clanging his signature slam dunk off the back of the rim and the ground ball between Buckner's legs rolled into one.
The message coming out of the White House has been so incoherent that it is they who are fueling conspiracy theories and raising questions of the actual legality of the operation itself! Al Jazeera, who the White House has touted as being the best "source" for all things in the Middle East, are now raising those questions, and others, which will certainly be spread throughout the Arab world. You can bet they won't put the U.S. in a favorable light.
Obama continues to destroy what shreds of respect we have left in the world with his total incompetence, even with what should have been a PR and military grand slam.

A key detail in the initial narrative of the historic operation that killed the world's most wanted man – al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden – has proven to be inconsistent, raising concerns about what really happened at the lavish gated compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
US president Barack Obama and his officials announced Sunday night that bin Laden "was engaged in a firefight" and was killed by US Navy SEAL commandos after an intense exchange. But the story was altered when White House press secretary acknowledged on Tuesday that bin Laden was unarmed when shot dead.
Amid accusations of possible violations of international laws, the US attorney general justified the raid "as an action of national self-defence" against "a lawful military target".
Boosted by Obama's refusal to release photos of bin Laden's body, suspicions of foul play during the 40-minute high-profile covert operation are being posed:
If bin Laden was an unarmed target, how can the SEAL commandos' lethal gunshots qualify as an act of self-defence against an imminent risk during a high-profile covert operation?
Did the US have the right to perform a targeted killing against Osama bin Laden?
Was it legal for the US to carry out a military operation on Pakistani territory without notifying its government?
Why was bin Laden's burial held in such haste?
Experts weigh in.
