The inability of the Obama Administration, either through naivete' or willful undermining of our security, is putting our nation's security at risk on a daily basis. Obama's foreign policy is a hodgepodge of seemingly unrelated decisions, creating uncertainty with longtime allies, and emboldening hostile regimes around the globe, who thumb their nose at what they see as an administration which has no stomach for taking on despots who pose threats to us or our allies. As cocksure as Obama is in pushing a domestic agenda which is destroying the economy and dividing the country, his overseas agenda is nearly non-existent, or as he puts it "leading from behind".
For this Administration to now come out and call a flat out terrorist attack on one of our military bases by a radical jihadist as a case of "workplace violence" is beyond politically correct. It is dangerous. It sends a message to every other islamist nut job out there that Obama and this government are still not taking this existential threat seriously, and that this country does not have what it takes to meet this threat head-on, engaging it with overwhelming (or as leftists like to call it - disproportionate) force.
We are told that the upcoming election is all about the economy, but it should not be just about getting the country back on its feet economically. We also need a President and administration that sees and understands threats to our safety and overall national security. Obama apparently is unable to do that, and for that reason alone, although there are many reasons, the American people should see him as unqualified to receive a second term as President in the 2012 election.
