Reminiscent of fellow moron Nancy Pelosi's statement that unemployment "creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name" (Video link here), Hilda Solis made her own inane argument that unemployment benefits decrease the unemployment rolls.  Well, if that is the case, why don't these wizards of smart just put everyone on unemployment? We can just import everything, which would certainly create plenty of jobs overseas, and everyone here could live out the Democrat's socialist Utopian dream. The economic playing field would be leveled out, and we could all share equally in the misery.
Solis, an open borders advocate, is one of the more radical members of the Obama cabinet, and is perhaps best known for her statement to a La Raza audience, referring to Hispanics as "our people".  Talking to a Latino voter registration project conference many years ago, she stated "We are all Americans, whether you are legalized or not."
