Posted by BrianMedia Smears Sarah Palin Because They Fear Her
Sarah Palin responded to the media-created firestorm in which it has been both insinuated, and flatly stated, that she is "responsible" for the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
Within minutes after the news broke, "Hanoi" Jane Fonda was on Twitter, blaming Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and the Tea Party.
In the first news conference after the shooting, Sheriff Dupnik of Pima County was pointing fingers at conservative talk radio. The media and the left-wing blogosphere took all of this, and despite NO evidence, began to shape their talking points. For over 3 days Sarah Palin has been smeared and libeled, by a press and politicians that are more interested in how to turn this tragedy into a political gain, than to report the facts of the case. Whatever happened to the "five W's" and an H that respected journalists use? The are, in order: Who? What? Where? When? Why? and How? Instead, the media went from Who? directly to Why?. In their rush to gain ratings they immediately began to find out who to fix blame on. In this case it was Sarah Palin, a figure that the vast majority of the media despise. This was too big of an opportunity to pass up. They could use this tragedy to smear and destroy her politically. Their fear of her, politically, is much stronger than their journalistic ethics. Tell me. If they don't fear her - if they don't find her formidable - why do they even bother to report on her and attack her the way they do? If she was not substantive, they would just ignore her and let her fade away. She terrifies them and their vitriol exposes their fear. That is why they seek to destroy her.
Finally, she releases the video (below) responding to all of this madness, and ABC News posts an article that says Sarah Palin has found a way to become part of the story. They MADE her the story! Apparently she is supposed to lie against the ropes, let the media pummel her, and not fight back. That is not who she is. She is not one to take things lying down, and she certainly wasn't going to this time.
