Health Secretary Sebelius: ‘There is no taxpayer funding for abortion’

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said the Democrats’ sweeping healthcare reform law does not fund abortions, and that no president’s administration has since the Hyde Amendment passed more than 30 years ago.
“There is no taxpayer funding for abortion,” Sebelius told The Hill in a sit-down interview Friday. “Not at community health centers, not as part of the new bill, not as any part of any services that we deliver.”
