This Sheriff, regardless of his opinions or political views, should not be voicing them in the middle of a criminal investigation. Kudos to Megan Kely for calling him on this. The residents of Pima County should, in my opinion, ask him to step down, or at the least, not run again. Law enforcement injecting politics into an ongoing investigation is unprofessional and a very slippery slope.
