Right To Work States Have Lower Unemployment, Higher Income and Healthcare Coverage, NRTW President Says
By Craig Bannister December 12, 2012
History shows that Michigan's citizens will soon be saying that the state's new "Right to Work" law is "a good thing for Michigan," National Right to Work Pres. Mark Mix explains.
In an exclusive interview with "The Right Views," Mix discusses the benefits Michigan will reap by becoming the nation's 24th Right to Work state and explains that the goal is to promote prosperity and individual freedom, not to bust unions:
"First of all, Right to Work is about individual worker freedom. It is wrong to think that, in this country, we could force a worker to pay a private organization for the privilege of working. So, on a fundamental basis, it's about individual freedom."

MI Dem: "There Will be Blood" Over Passage Of Right-to-Work Law
Posted by Brian
Democrats and union leaders are punks! Constantly lecturing us about incivility, or "violent rhetoric", they are masters of failing to heed their own warnings. Their "warnings" are only for conservatives. To their own union buddies and to their leftist supporters they are marching orders. After stating that "there will be blood" on the floor of the Michigan House, if violence does erupt this same vile piece of crap will go out and say, "See! Told you so". In fact, he has given de facto permission to these thugs to go out to do exactly what he thinks they should be doing. Intimidating, verbally and physically, anyone who doesn't support their position. You know, back to the good old days when union thugs would go out and crack a few skulls to get their way.
"There will be blood". Spoken like a good Stalinist!
Democrats threaten violence on Michigan House floor

“There will be blood,” State Representative Douglas Geiss threatened from the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives today as the body debated legislation that would make Michigan the nation’s 24th right to work state. “I really wish we had not gone here,”
Geiss continued. “It is the leadership in this house that has led us here. The same leadership that tried to throw a bomb right on election day, leading to a member switching parties, and came in at the 11th hour with a gotcha bill. For that, I do not see solace, I do not see peace.”

Obama: Look What Unions Have Done For Michigan, Detroit Going Bankrupt
Posted by Brian
President Obama continued his 2012 election campaign in Redford, Michigan by blasting Right-to-Work bills, saying "The-the-the-the-the these so-called right-to-work laws, they don't have to do with economics. They have everything to do with politics". (Um, genius. The election was over a month ago. You won. Let it go!)
This from the same candidate who, in 2008, called $400B deficits "unpatriotic", and has yet to produce a deficit south of $1 trillion.
He also says that we should look to Michigan to see how unions have "strengthened" the middle class. I agree. Just look what union contracts, with excessive wages/benefits have done to the state of Michigan. Michigan ranks 46th in the nation, behind even Illinois, New York, and the District of Columbia. Detroit is on the verge of bankruptcy, with portions of the city looking like a scene out of Escape from New York. Slums, dilapidated buildings, no street light service in some of the worst areas. In other words, a hell hole. Yes, Mr. President, let's look at Michigan to see what some of these unions and liberal policies have done to once-thriving cities like Detroit. They've destroyed them. They've taken away hope from the people who still live there, and have driven other people leave entirely.
You wanna talk about a liberal utopia? Detroit is it.
