Did you notice that all these clips show a total of three people?
Compare this to the number of participants in Kol Nidre or weekly Sabbath services at the rally, who sat in the Sukkah. And no one stopped them. No one yelled at them. No one made a scene.
It would seem that the general tenor is tolerant to supportive of Judaism.
And I write that as an Orthodox Rabbi who happens to have a day job at a hedge fund. I don't agree with the protestors. But alarmism doesn't help.
Micha, I am not trying to be alarmist. What I am trying to do is to show the hypocrisy of the media as it relates to who they support. Yes there are maybe only a few who are spewing their anti-semitic poison at the OWS protests. But we have all heard the media hyperventilation of Tea Partier's spitting on black members of Congress or calling them N***ers. Yet, there is not ONE audio or video documentation of this happening. This movement is, in my humble opinion, anti-America, anti-Jewish, and pro-Communist/socialist. Most of the protestors are not aware of who are backing this movement, but are simply being used by the backers of this movement. Yet it seems that the media are simply unconcerned with who is behind and/or funding this movement. I appreciate your feedback on this. I get far too little. I am a Christian who is married to a Jewish woman. My Children are Jewish. I fear that people are not noticing the rise of anti-semitism, not only here in the U.S., but around the globe. I am simply trying to make people aware of what is happening in our midst, and yet so little is being paid attention to it, or is being dismissed ("well, if that is all that they are going to do, then I can live with that".). I love you my brother. Shalom.
