Propaganda is Being Disguised As Grammar Tests In U.S. Schools

Posted by Brian

The parent of a ten-year-old student said she was shocked that a grammar test her student brought home was nothing more than a propaganda piece for big government.

The mother sent part of her child's test paper to InfoWars to expose the type of propaganda that is being surreptitiously taught to our children under the guise of education.  At first glance, the paper looks like a typical grammar test.  But as you read the sentences given, you realize there is an agenda at play.  These are not just some innocuous sentences, but an attempt to place ideas of how things should be into these young minds.

One of the sentences which jump right out is this one:
“The commands of government officials must be obeyed by all.”  Sounds pretty iron-fisted to me.
How about this one?:
“The wants of an individual are less important than the needs of a nation”  Wow. That doesn't sound communistic at all, does it?

You may say that I am just being overly sensitive, and that kids aren't being affected by this.  As a former instructor, I disagree.  In teaching, it is important that the information being taught is correct the very first time you teach a subject.  It doesn't matter whether it is children or adults.  A known fact is that students retain information they learn for the first time longer than they retain information  they must relearn. This is called the Law of Primacy. For students, unlearning information is always  more difficult than learning the correct information to begin with.  Educators, whether at the university or pre-school level, understand this.  Therefore, it is inconceivable to me that this propaganda being disseminated by teachers and approved curriculum throughout our schools, is just a coincidence or an oversight.  This is intentional.  The only time it gets pulled out of the texts or from the curriculum is when a parent or some other concerned educator blows the whistle on it.  Then we are told by the school district or some administrator that it was a simple mistake or oversight.  Uh, uh. I'm not buying it.

Pass this on to educate others. but in addition, please check the homework and assignments your children bring home with them.  Besides keeping tabs on what your child is being taught, it's also a great way to spend quality time with your children.

Stay vigilant.

CSCOPE: EXPOSING THE NATION’S MOST CONTROVERSIAL PUBLIC SCHOOL CURRICULUM SYSTEM
Mar. 7, 2013 7:50pm Tiffany Gabbay

In February, Texas announced that the state, along with the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum (TESCCC,) would enact major changes to the controversial curriculum management system dubbed CSCOPE. The system received a litany of complaints from faculty members and parents alike concerning its lack of transparency (parents were allegedly not permitted to review lesson-plans), lack of oversight from the State Board of Education, and for allegedly imposing oppressive working conditions for faculty members.

CSCOPE was created so that teachers could frame their year around teaching points required by the state. Lessons, which are written by CSCOPE staff and current and former teachers, can be updated and delivered online, making it more cost-effective than standard textbooks.

To note just how off-color some of the CSCOPE curriculum is, consider that the Texas CSCOPE Review, an independent watchdog group, uncovered an out-of-date, optional CSCOPE lesson-plan on terrorism — “World History Unit 12 Lesson 07″ — which allegedly likens the Boston Tea Party to “an act of terrorism.”

The system also recently asked students to design a flag for a new socialist nation.

Mandatory USDA Sensitivity Training: "The Pilgrims Were Illegal Aliens"

Judicial Watch obtained through an FOIA request, videos of mandatory USDA "sensitivity" training that more closely resembles an indoctrination session.
The instructor, Samuel Betances, has the class repeat back things like the following:
"I want you to say America was founded by outsiders."
"The Pilgrims were illegal aliens."
The Pilgrims never gave their passports to the Indians."

Betances goes on to say that this training is costing taxpayers a fortune,so the audience should be "focusing on mission".  What mission would that be? Rewriting American history? Government indoctrination of the American public at the taxpayers expense?
