In a recent debate on pending gun legislation in Colorado, the issue of a woman using a gun to defend herself from rape was presented. Representative Joe Salazar said, "It’s why we have call boxes, it’s why we have safe zones, it’s why we have the whistles. Because you just don’t know who you’re gonna be shooting at...and you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble and when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop — pop a round at somebody.”
It's important to note how stupid Politicians think you are....You're too stupid and incompetent to know if you feel like you're going to be raped, let alone defend yourself.
So we have one Politician saying you're too stupid and incompetent to defend yourself, and below we have one who says you shouldn't shoot back, if someone is shooting at you! He thinks the pen is a superior weapon to the whistle...
These Politicians will stop at nothing to lie and deceive the American people into supporting their agenda.
Finally, we have Joe Biden telling us, "if there's a problem, just go outside and fire a few blasts.." from your double barrel 12 gauge shotgun.......Imagine yourself in handcuffs, being lead to the Police car, explaining to the Officer that Vice President Biden said to do it! Not to mention that no TRAINED PROFESSIONAL WOULD EVER recommend going outside to confront someone and "fire a few blasts" at ANY target you can't identify, that doesn't pose an immediate threat to life!
Keep mind that in the Supreme Court Ruling of Warren Vs The District of Columbia, handed down on June 27, 2005, The Supreme Court of the United States ruled that Police Officers do not the responsibility to protect you. Guess who's job that is?
