It is with with great sadness, I report the Death of a real American Hero, Chris Kyle, United States Navy SEAL.
Chris was volunteering with USMC Veterans who were struggling with PTSD when reportedly, one of those he was working with shot him and another friend who was assisting him at a firing range. The suspect, Eddie Ray Routh, sped off in Chris's truck and was later apprehended by police after a short chase.
Chris served four tours of duty in Iraq and had 160 kills confirmed kills as a SEAL Sniper. He earned the title of "The Devil of Ramadi" in Iraq. He was well known for having shot an insurgent with an Rocket Propelled Grendade (RPG), who was threatening U.S. troops from a distance of over 2100 yards.
Chris received 14 different awards and decorations, including two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars, and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals.......RIP BROTHER
