Somali Pirates Mistake U.S. Guided Missile Frigate For Merchant Ship - OOPS!

Somali pirates out on the sea, West of the Seychelles, spotted a large ship on the horizon. Thinking they had hit the motherlode, they fired on what they assumed was a large cargo ship or tanker. 

Big mistake.

 Turns out their motherlode was the USS Nicholas, a U.S. guided missile frigate. Watch the video below to find out what happened to these hapless rejects of McHale's Navy.
