I seldom have to step away from my desk to keep my emotions in check, but this was one of those times. This generation's Madelyn Murray-O'Hare manifests itself in the person of Jessica Ahlquist, the teen who was so offended by a mural which had the words "Our Heavenly Father" on it that she sued her school to have it removed, has found another religious symbol that offends her oh-so-sensitive being.
Jessica Ahlquist, the new face of atheist intolerance and the the offending mural she had removed. |
The "offensive" WWI/WWII Memorial" |
The people of Cranston, Rhode Island need to stand up to this little shit, and not back down the way that the school did. If the court rules in favor of removing this memorial, the town needs to take it all the way to the Supreme Court. We, as a nation and a people can no longer tolerate being bullied and intimidated by atheists, or any other group, which seeks to remove and water down the faith and traditions upon which this country was built.
We have been a tolerant people. Too tolerant. Our tolerance has put us in the situation we are in now as a country... high divorce rates, single mothers, out-of-control entitlement programs, 1.3 million abortions a year, the breakdown of the nuclear family. We are a nation in crisis. Tolerance goes both ways, and those on the left are quick to call those they disagree with as intolerant in order to cow their opponents. Meanwhile, they use the courts, the media, and mob tactics to advance their intolerant positions and beliefs on an overly tolerant people. We need to meet their intolerance with intolerance!
It's time we drew line in the sand!
TEEN ATHEIST BEHIND PRAYER MURAL BAN WANTS CONTENTIOUS WWI & WWII CROSS REMOVED

While she’s been quiet over the past few weeks regarding her take on atheist demands that a WWI and WWII monument in front of a Woonsocket, Rhode Island, firehouse, be removed, she’s finally speaking out.

Go Jessica! "Overly tolerant." Thanks for the laugh.
ReplyDeleteAh! Another malcontent hiding behind the "anonymous" title. At least Jessica has the guts to be public in her fight. I stand by my statement.
