Biden is the Cliff Klaven of politics. He is the intellectual equivalent of the jack-of-all-trades, master of none, arming himself with just enough information to be dangerous. At this point, it is abundantly clear that even the press doesn't take himself seriously.
Responding to a question on whether going to Kabul on the anniversary of the killing of Bin Laden was Obama's "Mission Accomplished" moment, Biden said that Obama went to sign a document ending the war on terror, and that he would have gone regardless of the anniversary. Uh, huh.
But as is his nature, Joe "Big 'effing deal" Biden, was incapable of stopping there. One thing about the Cliff Klaven's and Joe Biden's of the world is that they never tire of hearing themselves talk, Saying that Obama had promised to "turn over heaven and earth" to find OBL and that he had made the tough decision based on the info they had, he went on to say that he doesn't know if Romney would have made the decision, but that (Lie #1) Romney would NOT have had the same information because Romney had stated that "he would not turn over heaven and earth" to find OBL.
Um, actually Romney DID say that he would. During a 2008 debate, moderated by Chris Matthews, (Video below. Relevant portion starts at about the 1:33 mark) he was asked "Would you move heaven and earth to get (Osama Bin Laden)? Romney stated:
Of course we would! We will move everything to get him, But, I don't want buy into the Democratic pitch that this is about one man."
Romney then made a compelling and cogent argument regarding Islamism, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood and a Islamist's goal of a world-wide caliphate, and that the "War on Terror" is bigger than just one man.
When Gregory mockingly calls out Biden on the fact that he told the President not to give the "Go" signal, and it seems hypocritical to point a finger at Romney, Biden is caught. But not one to show shame, Biden continues, saying that he told Obama to "follow your instincts", because his instincts have been almost "unerring". He also claimed that the President made the decision because (Lie #2) "he had 100% confidence in the SEAL's". Not only a lie, but a damn lie!
Obama's confidence was so high, that he had a "highly lawyered" memo drawn up to shift blame from himself, to the the SEAL's and Admiral William McRaven if anything had gone wrong.
Bin Laden was right. Joe Biden is incompetent. In fact, he's the worst kind of incompetent. He's an idiot with power, confidence, a bright smile, and no substance. The half-wit whose goal is to be a complete idiot.
And people were worried about Sarah Palin being one step from the Presidency?
