I believe him.
That said, I don't believe that Obama is going to immediately implement these orders. I don't think that they want that fight - not from Congress, but from the American people.
No, Obama is going to go before the camera's tomorrow, surrounded, of course, by a gaggle of youngsters being exploited to drive home Obama's point that he is only doing this "for the children", laying out these "common sense" steps submitted to him by "plugs" Biden.
Of course, Congressional Republicans led by the feckless Speaker Boehner, and Senate Minority Leader McConnell, will scream bloody murder of the extremeness of the proposals. In response, the Regime will keep up the full court press, aided by the usual suspects in the media, saying that the GOP is heartless, doesn't care about our children, and is of course racist for not caring about the large number of minorities who are killed by guns.
It is possible that even under this onslaught, the GOP will hold together and defeat legislation for new gun bans. More likely is that some sort of "compromise" with the less draconian proposals will occur, which lawmakers will call "common sense" laws. Obama will then claim victory, saying he's glad that Congress was able to find common ground, that he's glad that something was able to be accomplished, but that there is still work to be done.
Sooner or later, another tragic shooting will occur, which the Obama Administration, with the help of the media, will exploit in order to break out the executive orders he has been keeping on ice, ready to sign.
Unless every one of us who understand and treasure the principles this country was founded upon, stands up, organizes, calls their elected officials, and ensure that our voices are heard, I believe that this could very well be the scenario we will witness. Or something close to it.
And the uneducated masses will cheer, unaware they are embracing their own descent into tyranny.

The White House has identified 19 executive actions for President Barack Obama to move unilaterally on gun control, Vice President Joe Biden told a group of House Democrats on Monday, the administration’s first definitive statements about its response to last month’s mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
