Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, said late Saturday that he would not seek the Republican nomination for president next year in an announcement that was eagerly anticipated in part because of contradictory hints he had given over the last few days.
“All the factors say go but my heart says no, and that’s the decision that I have made,” he said near the end of his Fox News program, “Huckabee.”
