Washington Post Accuses Boston Globe Of Lying About Mitt Romney, Bain Capital

In response to today's Boston Globe's hit piece, the Washington Post of all outlets, is pushing back against the Globe story as old news and reveals that in a 2012 book titled "The Real Romney," former Boston Globe reporters criticized Romney for leaving Bain Capital in 1999:

  1. bottom line legally the buck stops with the CEO. Santorum should have been our nominee, no Romneycare or BAIN baggage

    1. I also preferred Santorum. However, the reality is that Romney is the nominee. It is as yet unclear what legal contracts were in place when Romney took the LOA. I would find it hard to believe that Romney, or any CEO for that matter, would leave themselves legally vulnerable during a period in which they had no input or control. We'll have to see.
      As for Santorum not being vulnerable, the media would not by any stretch give the guy a clear path. Like any conservative, they would blow every small misstep out of proportion, and if there were any dirt found, it would be a full blown scandal. The media blew up a story about Romney allegedly bullying a kid in prep school, but are still uninterested In anything BO has done which is older than yesterday.
      It was going to be a tough road for any Republican who got the nomination.
