Islamist Beheads Ex-Wife, Children In "Honor Killing"

Posted by Brian
Bringing to 16 the number of "honor killings" over a two month span in Afghanistan, the practice is growing in frequency.  The latest victims are an ex-wife and two of their three children, whose "dishonor was that they saw their father butcher their 30-year-old mother.

Some blame Hamid Karzai's inattention to women's rights, including his endorsement of a strict Islamic Sharia "code of conduct" for Afghan's, which allows men to beat their wives.

I blame Sharia, the Quran, and Islamist societies that are forever stuck in 6th century tribal "justice".

But, then again, I'm just some crazy right-wing Islamophobe who is appalled that so-called enlightened leftists attack the messenger, while being silent in the face of actual atrocities.  While innocent women and children are oppressed and murdered under the guise of a so-called "peaceful" religion, bourgeoisie  leftists stir up fear over a people like me who disagree with anthropogenic "Global Warming, "greenhouse gasses", and whether we spend enough on bike lanes in their communities.

Meanwhile, groups like CAIR and ISNA work tirelessly to bring Sharia law to the United States.  A Muslim Congressman proposes modeling U.S. schools after Islamic madrassas. Yet, any opposition to these things are met with ridicule and disdain by leftists as "unenlightened, scare mongering, and bigoted.

I view it as entering the coming battle with my eyes wide open.
