War On Terror Over! Obama Surrenders.

Whoo! I feel relieved. The Obama Administration, in a move of sheer election year brilliance, has declared that the "War on Terror" is officially over.

Really?

Well it must be true. A senior State Department spokesman told the National Journal "Now that we have killed most of al Qaida, now that people have come to see legitimate means of expression, people who once might have gone into al Qaida see an opportunity for a legitimate Islamism."  See? It's all over. Shout it from the rooftops! Put it on all of the "Obama 2012" campaign materials - bumper stickers, flyers, TV and radio spots.  Have the sycophants in the media regurgitate it, without a hint of shame or embarrassment.


In what may be the most asinine claim, the Obama Administration says it looks at the Muslim Brotherhood as a "moderate" Islamist group.  Talk about a contradiction in terms! What the hell exactly is a "moderate" Islamist?  Is it  a jihadist who is thoughtful about the blast range of the suicide vest he/she is wearing? Maybe it's an Islamist who uses anesthetic before performing genital mutilation surgery on their daughter?

This is dangerous thinking folks.  That a U.S. President and his administration can entertain this line of thought , and then make it policy(!), is beyond the pale.  I choose my words very carefully when talking, or writing, on this subject.  There is  a difference between "Muslim" and "Islamist".  


I would never call a Muslim man like Zuhdi Jasser an Islamist, because he truly is an advocate of living peacefully, and promoting tolerance and cooperation between Christians, Jews, and all other faiths.  Islamism is an ideology of hate and intolerance.  Their ultimate goal is to "convert" all "infidels" to Islamism, through spiritual conversion if possible, or through intimidation and the sword, if necessary.  Islamism looks to create a worldwide caliphate, run by an imam, which is governed by sharia law. Non-muslims living in this world would be required to pay a "Jizya", or fine, as proof of accepting subjugation to the Islamist state. Failure to convert or pay the jizya would result in the infidel meeting the fare of Nick Berg and Daniel Pearl.


So the Obama Administration has declared the war on terror over, despite a rising threat from Iranian-backed Hezbollah building a western base in Latin America, and uncertainty all over the Middle East. From Hamas smuggling rockets  and launching them, into our ally Israel on a nearly-daily basis, to the Muslim Brotherhood, which is poised to rule Egypt, calling for the destruction of Israel and telling Egyptians to prepare for war.  So what does the "Anointed One" do?  He hosts the Muslim Brotherhood, at the White House(!), while a rocket attack is launched on Israel from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.


But the "War on Terror" is over.
