Hot on the heels of Michelle Obama telling Americans that we can't leave childrens' health and nutrition "up to the parents", comes these food fascists from the "watchdog" group Center for Science in the Public Interest, and a woman capitalizing on the decision by the San Francisco City Council, to sue McDonalds for putting toys in Happy Meals. Apparently it is too much to ask that this woman, or other adults, take
any personal responsibility for decisions on what food they serve their children. When we make the decision to bring children into this world, we take on all the responsibilities that go with it. This includes making sure that the meals they get are nutritious and that they don't overindulge to an unhealthy point. This would include having the self-control and responsibility to tell our children "No" when they nag us to go to Mcdonalds, Burger King, or other fast food restaurant, if you've already taken them for the last five days. Leaving the responsibility for our childrens' nutrition in the hands of a few unelected individuals in the Judiciary, or in groups like Center for Science in the Public Interest, is giving away a little bit more off your liberty, and turning it over to a government that is becoming more and more intrusive in the everyday lives of all Americans. - Brian

A California mother and The
Center for Science in the Public Interest have sued McDonald's Corp. trying to get the fast-food chain to stop using toys to market meals to young children.
