Congressman, It's Not Your Money

Congressman Weiner is indicative of what we, the American people, are up against regarding our government: an elitist, condescending ruling class which views the average American with contempt.  Wiener, unable to hide his disdain for the producers in this country, brushes aside Megan Kelly's question of raising the inheritance tax on people who have $1,000,000 gross assets to 50% with the statement, "You'll be dead! You won't have to pay it."  Mr. Weiner, tell that to the small farmers and their families who, upon the passing of the parents, are forced to sell all, or part of, their land and assets to pay taxes on that which they have already paid taxes on.  Weiner also talks of money that the government loses if they do not raise the inheritance tax.  This is perhaps the most instructive part of this exchange, as it exposes for all the world to see exactly how these elitist snobs view the fruits of your labor - it's not your money.  In their minds, it's theirs!  This is exactly the type of behavior and thinking that the ruling monarchs in Europe had in the 1600's and 1700's, which led to a thing called the Revolutionary War, and is the impetus behind today's Tea Party movement.  We are now seeing riots in Europe, and thankfully we have not experienced that here.  But it is men like Anthony Weiner who try all of our patience.  - Brian

But as the conversation drifted to the estate tax, Weiner seemed to have no patience for Kelly herself, interrupting, sighing, looking away, clapping his hands and clearly crossing the line into condescension:
