The Black Community Does Not Need Government Hand-Outs, Says Operation Black Storm

(CNSNews.com)-- “Operation Black Storm,” a coalition whose goal is to promote conservative African American congressional candidates claims the Democratic party has done a “wonderful job” marketing itself to minority groups, but members of the black community do not need government hand-outs and have to learn to stand on their own.

The group also said at the National Press Club that unfortunately, the Democratic Party has “told us capitalism is bad.” “The reality is for the past 40 or odd years, the Democratic Party has done a wonderful job of marketing itself to all minority groups. They essentially shoot for the identity politics angle. If you’re a women, they play choice issues, if you are a Hispanic they play illegal immigration issues. If you’re black, they play issues related to the black community, whether it’s welfare, affirmative action, all of these things,” said coalition member Robert Broadus (R-MD) at the National Press Club October 29.
