Muslim Rep. Ellison Uses 'Taqiyya' to Defend Obama's Healthcare Lies

H/T to Breitbart.com for the Video

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) put the Muslim practice of "taqiyya" into full effect Sunday, fabricating a lie to protect the President from the lie he told the American people. Taquiya, which literally means "concealing, precaution, guarding”, is the Islamic practice of lying if it promotes or protects your beliefs.
Ellison, who was on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopolous", told the host (and the American people):

"You know, I just want to say I think that  everything that the president said and did was in pursuit to get all Americans health care, so, I think, even though he may have said, if you like your decent insurance, your insurance that works, then you can keep it, I think that people really get that. When -- he owned it. He said, look, if you misunderstood what I was trying to say, I'm sorry about that. I think that shows integrity."

Of course, President Obama didn't say anything like that.  Obama was very unambiguous in his lie to the American people. What he said was this:
"If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor."  "If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep your healthcare plan." (Video)

Ellison also implies in this statement that, "Hey! It's not Obama's fault that Americans don't understand good English. But it goes to show just how wonderful Obama is! That even though the American people are idiots, Obama owned the "misunderstanding", and that goes to show just how honest and what a standup guy Obama is."  So what Ellison really appears to say is that the American people are at fault for this mess, because we are too stupid to to understand what Obama was trying to say, and that we should be grateful that Obama's good intentions.

What was it Obama said about putting lipstick on a pig?
