Obama's Iowa Crowd Not "Fired Up" - Obama Appears Tired, Old

President Obama, speaking to about 200 supporters through an internet broadcast was met with silence by supporters. The broadcast had some technical glitches, such as static-y audio, but the President looked older, with his gray showing up prominently on the monitors, as well as sounding tired and unenthusiastic. Certainly a far cry from the messiah-like image that was presented to the American people in 2007 and 2008. It could also be that they audience has heard this same speech over and over, continuing to claim that the problems were worse than they thought, making things fairer, yada, yada, yada. Regardless, Obama's speech was listless and uninspired.
