An MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry roundtable discussion got heated, as Democrat strategist and former Executive Director of the Congressional Black Caucus, Angela Rye, reached into her liberal bag of talking points, and for the 145,742 time, accused the Tea Party of having racist undertones.
Specifically she said, "I was just thinking, to me, in 2010, the Republican infighting took a particularly dangerous tone because it wasn’t just about infighting anymore. It was about taking our country back with the resurrection of the Tea Party. And it was very, very racial, whether any of them will admit it or not."
Well, it wasn't, and still isn't, racial. Furthermore, the rise of the Tea Party started well before 2010, as conservatives began becoming frustrated with the spending of George W. Bush and Republicans.
Ron Christie
To his credit, Ron Christie called Ms. Nye on her blatant race-baiting, informing her that race had absolutely nothing to do with the Tea Party's opposition to Barack Obama. Out of control spending does.
Melissa Harris-Perry stepped into the fray to go to a break, returning to the same discussion when they came back from the break.
Nye then doubled down, bringing up the mystery spitting and use of the "N" word supposedly directed at Congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis (D-GA) as Democrats reenacted the civil rights march on Selma as they made their way to vote on ObamaCare.
Problem one: No one actually ever heard anyone shout the N-word at Lewis, nor did anyone see anyone spit on Lewis. Not has anyone been able to produce an audiotape, videotape, or any other evidence that this ever happened, despite literally scores of audio and video recorders all along the route Lewis walked, and at the location where the alleged incident happened. Even Lewis has refused to answer one way or the other to this day. A $100 thousand dollar reward offered by Breitbart remains unclaimed to this day.
Problem two: Ron Christie states that he WAS at the march and at the location where the alleged incident took place, and he adamantly denies that either thing happened.
Game, set, match to Christie.
Ron Christie Smacks Down Race Card Propaganda on MSNBC
By Deneen Borelli / 17 December 2013
For far too long, MSNBC hosts and guests have used the race card to unfairly attack the character of Tea Party activists as a means to undermine their credibility.
That’s why I was thrilled to see fellow black conservative Ron Christie shutdown the race card propaganda on MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry show last Sunday.
Surrounded by liberals, Christie promptly reacted to the old and wild accusation made by Angela Rye, a former executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), that Tea Party activists oppose Obama because of race. Being on MSNBC, Rye must have thought she was in a liberal safe zone where any statement goes without a challenge. Read More at Deneen Borelli
For those who watch MSNBC, and were unfortunate enough to watch Melissa Harris-Perry's Thanksgiving send-off, you got a lesson into the kind of crap that is also being taught to kids from elementary through college age.
Keep in mind that Harris-Perry in not only an MSNBC anchor, but is a political science professor at Tulane, She also travels the country doing speaking engagements, poisoning the minds of students with her anti-American and racist BS from coast to coast.
This is a person who sees most things through a racial lens. The attacks on the World Trade Center? "It gave whites an "imagined racial enemy." When support among liberals was waning for President Obama, she blamed it on electoral racism". Voter ID? Racism, of course. Therefore it is no surprise that she sees the first Thanksgiving as nothing more than the raping and pillaging of the Indians, and little else. After all, the Pilgrims were white. They were racist simply by virtue of their skin color. I'm racist just for writing this.
For a true story the first Thanksgiving, I recommend reading "Of Plymouth Plantation", written by William Bradford, the 2nd governor of the original Plymouth Plantation. This text is widely regarded as the most comprehensive account of the original pilgrims and of the first Thanksgiving., and gives a historically accurate account of that time, in contrast to Harris-Perry's racist historical revisionism.

I certainly hope that some of you are getting as sick and tired of the liberal screed that America is this racist, bigoted homophobic country, and is the cause of all of our and the rest of the worlds' problems. That certainly is the message that MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry is projecting in this speech to the crowd at the leftist "Take Back the American Dream" conference this past week in Washington D.C.
Let's be clear. The giant racist elephant in the room is not the GOP or the Tea Party. Or President Bush. Melissa Harris-Perry is the racist. So is Al Sharpton, and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden, and most of the Democrat Party and left-wing media.
Democrats are OBSESSED with race. Just as they are obsessed with sexual orientation, and gender. These issues define todays' Democrat Party. They are not interested in these things as they relate to equality, as they claim. No, they are interested in them only in the sense of how they can use them as political wedge issues. They don't want real solutions. They want division and acrimony between Americans. Because for them, it's not about equality. It never has been. It's about power.
Though there are numerous examples in Harris-Perry's speech, but a key to how she sees America is this:
"For about a year after September 11th, there were African-American men walking around the city of New York with NYPD hats on. That can only be explained by a PTSD response."
First of all, this should be an insult to everybody - black, white, asian, gay, straight. Really? Why is that? Because, it doesn't fit the stereotype of what a black person does, which of course is the duty, born into the soul of every black man, to hate the cops. It's in their DNA! And yet, she is lauded as some brilliant person for saying things like this. Let Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, or some other conservative say this, and there will be mass demonstrations, feigned outrage from Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and calls for boycots from Ben Jealous and the NAACP.
It must have been terrifying for the leftists after 9/11 to see so many American's come together as a country - black, white, brown, yellow, straight, gay - under one banner of red, white and blue. People where not hyphenated Americans. They were just American. Give the libs credit though. They went on the attack, within the week following 9/11. First were criticisms of Bush, and the media narrative of "Why Do They Hate Us?" Then came the rumors and conspiracy theories that is was an inside job, it was the Jews, etc... Divide the country. It worked so well that the Democrats have only become more bold and more brazen in their attacks, their ferocity, and in the ridiculousness of some of the attacks.
But, the curtain has been pulled back and many Americans aren't buying it anymore. They know they're not racist. Or homophobes. Or sexist. Or (name a perjorative). The real secret is that as conservatives, we don't care what your skin color is. We don't care who you sleep with and don't want to know. We don't care whether you wear pants or a skirt. As a businessman, I want to know if you are hard working, can you do the job you are hired for, can you work well with others, are you honest, and can you help my company make money. Race, orientation, gender, or religion don't even factor in. And that is true for way more than 99% of the conservatives that I meet.
But I digress.
Ms. Harris-Perry goes on to hit on some common liberal themes such as white racism, and of course, the obligatory war on women (18:45 mark). The War on Women which she says she first started to see when Sonja Sotamayor was nominated to the Supreme Court. Yeah, she must have been out of the country for all of that Sarah Palin business, with the "putting lipstick on a pig", being called a "c*nt", "stupid", and other vile and violent things. Sarah was even credited for a line that Tina Fey said about "seeing Russia from my house" on SNL, and which has been parroted by all of the media pundits for four years, and is now "common knowledge". Yeah, she must have been out of country, or under a rock somewhere to have missed that.
This is nothing new really, but it is interesting to see so many liberals coming out into the open and really exposing themselves for what they really, truly think and believe, and to have other good, decent Americans finally understand that it's the leftists that are the racists and bigots.
MSNBC HOST: 9/11 GAVE AMERICA ‘PTSD’, ‘MUSLIM TERRORISTS’ WERE AN ‘IMAGINED RACIAL ENEMY’ FOR WHITE AMERICA
Posted on June 19, 2012 at 2:32pm by Benny Johnson
According to MSNBC Host and Former Obama Colleague Melissa Harris-Perry
9/11 vaulted America into a “nationalist fervor” that was similar to “having post-traumatic stress disorder”
Makes racial joke about African-American men wearing NYPD hats 9/11 provided an opportunity for a new “racial enemy” in America
America “identifies who we are…through our notions of whiteness and of the racial enemies that are the non-whites”
9/11 gave America a chance to shift its racial hate from “Reagan‘s ’welfare Queen’“ to ”imagine” our enemy as ”somehow Muslim, or Arab, or Sikh, or something else.”
Americans an ability to “stomach a kind of horrific racial violence in the name of national security”
Those that are “activating terrorism against us” are “imagined racial enemies”
