By Terence P. Jeffrey June 12, 2012

(CNSNews.com) - Attorney General Eric Holder has refused to provide written testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee in response to "questions for the record" submitted to him by Sen. Jeff Sessions (R.-Ala.) that focus on Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan's involvement in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act--AKA Obamacare--while she was President Barack Obama's solicitor general.

Internal DOJ Email: Kagan Was Brought Into Loop on Mark Levin’s Obamacare Complaint

Posted by Brian

(CNSNews.com) - Internal Justice Department email communications made just days before the House of Representatives passed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act show that then-Solicitor General Elena Kagan was brought into the loop as DOJ began preparing to respond to an anticipated legal complaint that Mark Levin and the Landmark Legal Foundation were planning to file against the act if the House used a procedural rule to “deem” the bill passed even if members never directly voted on it.

In another internal DOJ email communication that same week, Kagan alerted the chief of DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel to the constitutional argument that a former U.S. Appeals Court judge was making against the use of this rule.

AG Holder Stonewalls Congress On Document Requests...Again

Posted by Brian
Eric Holder, the top cop in the country, is making a habit of refusing to comply with congressional requests for documents of any kind, related to any number of different investigations.  For an Administration which was going to be the "most transparent" in history, the stonewalling of requested documents, administration people who refuse to appear before Congress, and non-complianceof any number of requests is downright serial.  What do they have to hide?  This is yet another instance in which it appears that Eric Holder has perjured himself under oath in testimony to Congress.
As the top law enforcement officer in the country, this appearance of corruption, lying, and concealing or failing to turn over subpoenaed evidence should require him to resign as Attorney General as soon as possible.

DOJ Refuses Judiciary Committee’s Request for Kagan-Obamacare Documents; Holder Then Testifies He Was Unaware of Request

(CNSNews.com) - The U.S. Department of Justice is refusing to comply with a request from the House Judiciary Committee to provide the committee with documents and witness interviews that the committee believes, as Chairman Lamar Smith (R.-Texas) put it in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, would allow the panel “to properly understand any involvement by Justice Kagan in matters relating to health care legislation or litigation while she was Solicitor General.”
The committee initially made the request in a July 6 letter that Smith sent directly to Attorney General Eric Holder.

Elena Kagan: "Income Should Be Treated As If It Were Government Property"

Harvard Law School dean and US Solicitor Gener...Image via Wikipedia

The above statement says as much about Barack Obama as it does about Elena Kagan.  It is how the President sees things, so it only makes sense that he nominate someone who reflects how he sees the world.
This statist was allowed to be confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court, the highest court of law in the land, because of the completely impotent Republican leadership.  Their inability to ask even one substantive question, or to attempt to expose her radical statist views, means that we have this Marxist sitting on the Supreme Court for the rest of her life! Republicans completely rolled over when Kagan came before the Senate for the 'advice and consent' portion of the process.  Republican's were not going to block her nomination, no matter what, and she knew it.  The hearings looked more like the coming out party for a debutante than a serious hearing to find out what the nominee's judicial philosophy was, and whether it was even constitutionally-based.
Wonderful.
EDITORIAL: Kagan’s government money grab
By THE WASHINGTON TIMES -The Washington Times
Obama team makes feds, not citizens, supreme
When President Obama outlines his tax-increase plan on Wednesday, it’ll be based on the liberal assumption that all money belongs to the government, with Americans retaining only what bureaucrats allow. That’s the dangerous argument Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, an Obama appointee, made last week in a case on education funding.

Arizona Christian School Tuition Organization v. Winn involved a tuition tax credit whereby Arizonans can contribute to groups providing scholarships for private schools. Some cranks argued that because the scholarships can be used at religious schools, the tax credit amounted to unconstitutional government support for religion. The Supreme Court majority ruled that the complainants didn’t have legal standing to sue because none of their own tax money was being funneled to religious organizations
