NJ Imam: Free Speech A Security Threat To U.S.

Posted by Brian

These people don't miss an opportunity to try to ram sharia, dhimmitude, or jizya down our throats.  Maybe if we had leaders that made it a threat for them to attack our embassies or other interests, this kind of crap wouldn't be an issue.  Something along these lines: "You attacked our embassy and killed four of our citizens? Sense you're feeling a little froggy, we're sending a squadron of Stealth fighters loaded with daisy cutters and bunker busters to calm your asses down, okay? Maybe a few air-burst liquid-fuel bombs. Those ought to take your breath away! Whadaya think!?"

Hey! It worked for Reagan.  Gadaffi calmed down for over 25 years.

FREE SPEECH THAT MOCKS ISLAM IS NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT FOR U.S., PROMINENT NJ IMAM TELLS THEBLAZE
Posted on September 20, 2012 at 8:30am byTiffany Gabbay

There are religions that promote turning the other cheek even when mocked, but it appears Islam is not one of them. According to one of the most prominent imams in North America, Islam never condones violence, but it also, under no uncertain terms, “ever accepts” speaking ill of the Prophet Muhammad.

In fact, so grave is mockery of the prophet considered, that the cleric – Mohammad Qatanani, who leads one of the largest mosques in New Jersey – even believes free speech that criticizes Islam poses a national security threat to the U.S. and that those responsible should be investigated by the Department of Homeland Security.

Hertz Refuses To Cave To Islamic Supremacy Intimidation

Posted by Brian
More companies need to follow Hertz' lead on this.  The capitulation that is shown by most companies is disgusting. It has only led to more frequent cases of this type of behavior, where Muslims are demanding special rights, and pushing for a sort of de facto sharia law in the workplace, schools, and elsewhere. Bravo Hertz!

Hertz to fight Muslim workers' lawsuit over prayer breaks

These workers refused to clock out to pray. They weren't being denied breaks. They were just not being allowed to get paid to pray. And so, of course, they are suing. But Hertz, unlike most American businesses when faced with Islamic supremacist intimidation lawsuits, is fighting back.
A refreshing instance of anti-dhimmitude and an update on this story. "Hertz to fight Muslim workers' suit over prayer breaks," by Laura L. Myers for Reuters, December 9 (thanks to Twostellas):

Toronto Public Schools Enforce Islamic Sharia On Menstruating Girls

Sharia in Toronto: the Muslim Girls on Their Period Have to Sit in the Back

July 19, 2011 - 12:00 am - by Bruce Bawer

This sort of thing should send a chill down the spine of anyone who understands what it means for a country to be free or for a school to be public.

It never ceases to amaze. Sharia is putting down roots all over the West, in ever more explicit and obvious ways. And bien pensant folks on the Left continue to insist, fiercely and self-righteously, that nothing of the kind is going on — even though it’s happening right under their noses.

One of the lastest breathtaking examples: a public middle school in Toronto where Friday prayers are part of the curriculum.

The other day the Toronto Star ran a picture showing a group of students at prayer. There were three groups, ranged according to status. In the front were the praying boys. Behind them were the praying girls. Way in the back were the girls who were menstruating, and thus forbidden from participating in prayer.

Now, this sort of thing should send a chill down the spine of anyone who understands what it means for a country to be free or for a school to be public. But nowadays all too many people — especially, it seems, people in positions of public authority — are quick to justify such outrages, as long as Islam is in the picture. In the National Post, for example, Tasha Kheiriddin quoted one Chris Spence, education director of the Toronto District School Board, as saying this:

As a public school board, we have a responsibility and an obligation to accommodate faith needs.
