It Can't Happen Here? DHS Targets Christians as a Threat to the Country

It just keeps getting stranger.

A Colorado under-Sheriff sent a letter to blogger Steven H. Ahle on Friday which said that he had recently attended a training session of law enforcement officers in which the speaker, Colorado State trooper Joe Kluczynski, spoke for two hours on the "sovereign citizen movement" and how they pose a threat to the country.

My first question was: What is a sovereign citizen movement?  According to the Department of Homeland Security, these are people "who believe America was founded on godly principles, Christians who take the Bible literally, and 'fundamentalists'." In other words - Christians. In other words: He is talking about me.  

Excuse me, but the United States was founded on Godly principles.  One need look no further than what the founders said:

“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great Nation was founded not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religious, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason alone, people of other faiths have been afforded freedom of worship here.”  Patrick Henry 1776

Kluczynski, who said he is leaving his job in the Colorado State Police to work for DHS, didn't stop there. He stated that people like me are "dangerous", because I'm angry that we have elected a black President. There are a lot of reasons that I don't like Barack Obama, but one of them is not that he is black. I see him as red As in Marxist. When he was asked if the economy might have more to do with people's dislike of Obama than his skin color, Kluczunski said that "those who are not going along with the changes in America will need to be controlled by law enforcement".  What changes is he talking about?  The fundamental transformation that Barack Obama spoke of back in 2008.  Are we supposed to, regardless of what Obama or the federal government wants to shove down our throats, just meekly bend over and take it?  That is apparently what he is saying.

A DHS powerpoint presentation lists "evangelical Christianity" as the top religious extremist group - above the Muslim Brotherhood, Al Qaeda, Hamas,and the Ku Klux Klan! Also listed are Catholics and fundamentalist Mormons.  
Maybe I'm out of touch, but did I miss all of the terrorist attacks by jack-booted Mormon thugs, and evangelical Christians with bombs strapped to their chests?  Of course, there was the crazed Baptist that killed fourteen soldiers at Fort Hood screaming "Praise Jesus" at the top of his lungs. No, wait.  That was the Islamist Nidal Hassan shouting "Allahu Akhbar", who is awaiting trial while continuing to receive full pay. But that wasn't a terrorist attack. The Obama administration told us it was only "workplace violence".

But it gets worse. Kluczynski also asked those officers attending his little propaganda session if they are "willing and prepared to confiscate 'illegal' weapons if ordered to".  Again, what "illegal weapons" is he speaking of?  The firearms guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment?  Am I, and countless millions of other Americans, going to suddenly be in possession of illegal weapons, which were purchased legally, because our lawmakers passed sweeping legislation making them instantly illegal?  Are there churches all over the country stockpiling M-16's, grenades, flamethrowers, shoulder-mounted stingers, and bazookas?  What illegal weapons exactly is he talking about?

Is this officially how the federal government and the Obama administration now sees its people/subjects?  As criminals, religious zealots, and fundamentalists "clinging to their guns and religion"?

Do you still think it can't happen here?
