Obama Admin Redistributes $900K To Launch Womens' Jobs Program...in Peru and El Salvador

As women suffer the greatest under the Obama Administration in terms of jobs growth, being the only group to lag behind population growth, Hillary Clinton announced the U.S. is sending $900K for a pilot program to help women in Peru and El Salvador start businesses.
This is nothing more than a reflection of Obama's anti-Colonial belief that the U.S. has been fundamentally unfair to other countries around the world, and is but one more payoff to redistribute U.S. dollars to another of those countries that he believes we have screwed. Call it income redistribution or reparations - to Obama it is all the same.
Meanwhile, here at home, as Obama and the Democrats continue to pound a GOP 'War On Women' meme, women have fallen behind every other group in job gains during his administration.

(CNSNews.com) - The U.S. is spending $900,000 to help women start businesses and create jobs--in Peru and El Salvador.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced the new Women's Entrepreneurship Trust Fund last month on visit to the Peruvian capital of Lima.

“The United States is making an initial contribution of $900,000 to launch pilot programs here in Peru and in El Salvador,” Clinton said on October 16.

Will Smith Get Hit With Dose Of Reality on "Sticking it To The Rich"

Will Smith, appearing on French television, got hit smack in the nose with a dose of redistributional socialist reality when discussing progressive tax rates.

When questioned about Obama's proposal enact 30% rates for the "rich" on income above $1 million ( Obama actually proposes 39%, but who's counting), Smith spoke of how lucky he has been, and that he is willing to pay more to help his country.
When the interviewer tells Smith that the new President of France is proposing to enact a 75% tax on income over $1 million euros, Smith is visibly shocked (at approx. 1:20 mark of video).  Saying, "that's different" and  "God Bless America", it appears that Smith is not so comfortable with himself having to pay that much.

News flash for Will Smith: if Obama and the leftists get their way, 39% is only a warm-up for what is to come. Prior to JFK, the rate on the upper income earners was nearly 80%. The leftists would absolutely love to see that rate again.
Reality is a harsh mistress, isn't it Mr. Smith?

Apparently, many students don't like the idea of redistribution - but, only when it applies to their grades. Redistribution of their GPAs (grade point averages) to poorer students, they say, is unfair. But, those with lower grades don’t seem to mind benefiting from the hard work of their “greedy” high-achieving classmates.

Young America's Foundation's fourth annual GPA Redistribution Petition and Video Contest has produced yet another stellar student entry, this time from Carthage College. This year, the national public policy debate has focused on "fairness" through taxing the wealthy in an attempt to redistribute wealth. Many young people support this socialistic policy.

We heard a lot on Tuesday night from President Obama about the wealthy paying their “fair share” in his State of the Union speech.  (Well, you heard it a lot; I read the speech and then commenced to have a life on Tuesday night.)  Obama made half a dozen references to fairness in relation to taxes in the address, including taking a shot at Congress:

But in return, we need to change our tax code so that people like me, and an awful lot of members of Congress, pay our fair share of taxes.

Greed? Hypocrisy? Romney Gives 15% To Charity, Obama 1%, Biden $369 or .3%

This is perfect illustration of those hypocritical politicians saying that we all have to give more of our hard earned dollars to those less fortunate. Or as Joe Biden says, "Time to jump in. Time to be part of the deal". It seems that Mitt Romney has jumped in, to the tune of $7 million over 2 years. Obama and Biden only want to take your money and give it to someone else.

Mitt Romney gave millions to charity. Joe Biden gave $369.

I'm really struggling to work out what all the fuss is about over this one. It seems to me to be much ado about nothing. Breaking news: Mitt Romney is very rich. He also gave millions and millions of dollars to charity and to the taxman.

In the early hours of this morning, some 550 pages of Mitt Romney's tax returns and a 2011 tax summary were released by his campaign. Just after dawn, there was a long campaign conference call for bleary-eyed reporters in which an accountant (who sounded exactly like you'd imagine Mitt Romney's accountant would sound) went into details of Mitt millions in mind-numbing detail.

There was an air of grumpy efficency about the call, which was led by Ben Ginsberg, who was George W. Bush's lawyer during the Florida election recount in 2000. At one point Ginsberg noted that 26 people from Chicago were listening into the proceedings, a reference to the Obama campaign headquarters.

Who says the rich always get richer?

Despite heated rhetoric emanating from politicians and pundits, the top 1% is hardly a fixed group that enjoys consistent income gains. To the contrary, the wealthiest have become the most crash-prone group in our economy.

The total income of the top 1%—or those earning more than $343,000 in 2009—fell by more than 30% from 2007, according to the most recent Internal Revenue Service data. By contrast, the average income of the bottom 90% fell less than 3% during the same period.

A November Federal Reserve study, meanwhile, found that a third of the people in the top 1% in 2007, as measured by wealth, were no longer in the top 1% in 2009.
