FLOTUS: Blacks Have a "Long Way To Go" For Equality [VIDEO]

Posted by Brian

Alfonzo Rachel exposes the hypocrisy of the left, and the absolute idiocy of Michelle Obama: "When you're the First Lady of the United States, and you're black, and you're still saying, 'we gotta long way to go...'".
'Zo just keeps hitting the left with humor, facts, common sense, and a good measure of Biblical principles thrown in.

Teacher Conducts Shocking Racism Experiment with Third Graders!! [VIDEO]

Posted by Brian

From 1970!
A classroom experiment, in which third-graders are told that blue-eyed people are better than brown-eyed people.  Within fifteen minutes, the blue-eyed children were discriminating against the brown-eyed kids, even getting into fights on the playground.

Remember, these are young children.  Malleable. Impressionable. Open to suggestion by a trusted authority figure.

Now, think about what is being taught to our children today. Much of their school day is filled, not with the three R's, but with "cultural" subjects, and more often than not, has nothing to do with the American culture. American history is now anti-American history.  Groups like Planned Parenthood are brought in to "teach" our children where they can go to get condoms, birth control pills, and "reproductive services" (abortions), even telling them how to do it without mom and dad finding out. "Health" classes  are not about health anymore, but are instead promote LGBT agendas. Science classes promote propaganda provided by far-left environmentalists.  In Virginia, a teacher told her 6th-grade class that Republicans are "stupid", and only care about "wealthy" people and "businesses". Kind of scary when you juxtapose it against what you see and hear in the video, isn't it?

I find this video interesting, not so much for the subject matter, but in illustrating for us the astonishing ease in which these children can be manipulated in such a short period of time.

I hope this shows all of us to be aware of what a teacher or school district can accomplish in shaping the minds of your children and teens, and that we all be more involved in their education.

Remember this from 2009? A little more disturbing after watching the above video now, isn't it?

Obama Shamelessly Using Trayvon Martin To Rekindle Gun Control Debate

Posted by Brian

If this weren't so infuriating, it would be absolutely laughable.

The President of the United States unexpectedly enters the White House Press briefing room to give an impromptu statement on the Trayvon Martin verdict.

Really?

With everything else facing the country (the economy, unemployment, the IRS, illegal, immigration, Syria, Benghazi, Fast & Furious) , this is what the President feels he needs to weigh-in on? The need to put in his two cents on a made-for-Oprah trial that, arguably, should have never been brought before a jury?  Way to focus like a laser on the important issues!

Note: To give credit where credit is due, Obama did make his remarks without the aid of a telepromptor.  Unfortunately for him (and for us), he comes off as tired, and someone who does not have a grasp of all the facts about which he speaks, rather than the leader of the Free World.

Obama starts out by mentioning the family of Trayvon Martin:

First of all, you know, I -- I want to make sure that, once again, I send my thoughts and prayers, as well as Michelle’s, to the family of Trayvon Martin, and to remark on the incredible grace and dignity with which they’ve dealt with the entire situation. I can only imagine what they’re going through, and it’s -- it’s remarkable how they’ve handled it.

I have no issue with this, in that I also have respect for the feeling and emotions of the Martin family, and what they must be going through.  I cannot imagine, as a father, losing one of my children, whatever the cause. It would be devastating.

It is notable, however, that Obama never mentions, not even once, the family of George Zimmerman, and the ordeal they have endured, also with grace and class, during the course of the investigation and trial, as well as dealing with death threats and threats of violence, which they continue to deal with to this day. Apparently, Obama's well of compassion only runs so deep.

Obama then goes on to essentially give a wink and a nod to all of the protestors and agitators, saying:

You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago. And when you think about why, in the African- American community at least, there’s a lot of pain around what happened here, I think it’s important to recognize that the African- American community is looking at this issue through a set of experiences and a history that -- that doesn’t go away.

Well, why doesn't it go away, genius?  Could it be that race-baiters like you, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are constantly telling the black community that racism is still the same problem that it was 50, 75, 100 or 150 years ago? That blacks are still in a state of slavery, and that the deck is stacked against them.  Hell, they might as well be living in pre-Civil War America!  Or maybe it is because we have the so-called civil rights leader, Jesse Jackson is doing interviews saying that Florida is "an apartheid state"? Martin Luther King must be rolling in his grave at the way Jackson, his protege, has hijacked his message and completely bastardized it.

The comment that Trayvon "could have been me 35 years ago", is just Obama (once-again) shamelessly inserting himself into the mix.  It's always about Obama.  Even when it isn't, its about him.

My question for Barack Obama is this: Which you of 35 years ago are you talking about?  It is the Barack Obama of the "Choom Gang", or is it the budding Marxist Obama sitting at the knee of your Communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis?

Mr. President, you claimed to be a "uniter", but you prove, everyday, to be nothing more than an agitator and divider, a role that your time as a community organizer trained you well for.

"Never let a crisis go to waste"
It is not until about 4 minutes into Obama's little "impromptu" remarks that we discover his real reason for his appearance, and it has nothing to do with Trayvon Martin, or this trial.  It turns out they are merely the vehicle that Obama has chosen to use in order to rekindle an agenda item in which Obama suffered his first major defeat several months back - Gun Control.

Barack Obama has little interest in this, or any other "crisis", save for how he can use it to advance his socialist vision of America.  Like the families of the Children in Newtown, Barack Obama is using the family of Trayvon Martin to gain sympathy for an agenda item in which he suffered a stinging rebuke from the American people.  What was worse, it was a rebuke from those Americans which he really despises -  the one "bitterly clinging to their guns and religion". Remember the press conference in which a visibly angry Barack Obama called the defeat "shameful", said that the NRA "willfully lied", and declared that Senate Republicans decided it "wasn't worth it" to protect the lives of children.  Ouch!

Obama opened up his new salvo on gun control following a screed on racial profiling with this:

Along the same lines, I think it would be useful for us to examine some state and local laws to see if it -- if they are designed in such a way that they may encourage the kinds of altercations and confrontations and tragedies that we saw in the Florida case, rather than diffuse potential altercations.
I know that there’s been commentary about the fact that the stand your ground laws in Florida were not used as a defense in the case.
On the other hand, if we’re sending a message as a society in our communities that someone who is armed potentially has the right to use those firearms even if there’s a way for them to exit from a situation, is that really going to be contributing to the kind of peace and security and order that we’d like to see?
And for those who resist that idea that we should think about something like these “stand your ground” laws, I just ask people to consider if Trayvon Martin was of age and armed, could he have stood his ground on that sidewalk? And do we actually think that he would have been justified in shooting Mr. Zimmerman, who had followed him in a car, because he felt threatened?

Do you notice what he does?  He first acknowledges that the Florida "Stand Your Ground" law had nothing to do with the George Zimmerman case.  Then, brushing it aside, he tells the press that we need to see if we are "sending a message" of unnecessary confrontations with firearms.

He further shows his ignorance of what Stand Your Ground is by concocting yet another one of his straw-men arguments, asking if Trayvon would have been justified in shooting Zimmerman under the law.  The answer in both situations is no.

What Obama does not mention is that the Stand your Ground laws in Florida have benefitted the black population in the state, disproportionately, accounting for one-third of the total cases in which Stand your ground was used as a defense (with a 55% success rate), or double the percentage of blacks in the state.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, black teens and men are being killed by other black men and teens in epidemic numbers, in a city which boasts some of the toughest anti-gun laws in the country.  Yet, Obama and the rest of the anti-gun proponents and race-baiters, rarely mention the entire generation of young people being murdered in Obama's adopted home town on a daily basis. It doesn't fit the racial narrative, and drawing attention to it certainly destroys their gun-control narrative.

The takeaway from all of this is that Obama doesn't really care about the pain and suffering of the Martin family, and sees their tragedy as his opportunity.  He will feign compassion, using them, as he does all of the others, to help him.

Because, it's always about him.

Think You Know Obama? Bet You Didn't Know THIS!

I rue the fact that I did not come across this video a year ago.  I am more upset that the information he covers in this presentation has been completely ignored by the mainstream media outlets.

Trevor Loudon, a pro-American New Zealander, has compiled not only the most complete background of Barack Obama to date, he bookends it with what it means for the United States in the future.

This is information that every American should know, not only about Barack Obama, but of the people he has surrounded himself with, including Valerie Jarrett, David Axlerod, and Leon Panetta.  He leads you on a journey through the lives, contacts, mentors  and organizations which shaped the life of not only Barack Obama, but of the aforementioned as well.  It is an incestuous web in which the same names and organizations appear in the lives of each of these people time and again.

America faces a host of difficulties today which include the economic recession, unemployment, out-of-control spending, the rise of China and Russia, a nuclear Iran, radical Islam, and many others. Loudon lays out in detail THE most serious issue facing the United States today, which are none of the above.  It is the socialist agenda of the Barack Hussein Obama, and the Progressive movement in the country, moving at breakneck speed to collapse us economically, and worse, to weaken us militarily to that of other non-Superpowers.

Without defeating the agenda of Obama and the Marxist left, we will be incapable of taking on the other issues.

This video, along with another video ("Grinding America Down"), which I am posting immediately after this, are not only two of the most important things you may ever watch, it is also imperative that you pass them on to everyone you know. The media will not expose Barack Obama, his past, his future agenda, and the danger he poses not only to the United States, but to freedom loving people everywhere.  Bookmark this and set aside some time to watch both, either alone, with your family, or some friends.  They are well worth the time, and their importance can not be understated.

OH NO! Pepsi/Coke Cause Cancer says "Watchdog" Group. "Troubling" Chemical to Blame.

Posted by Brian

Should the new slogan for Pepsi be "Cancer for a New Generation"?

The Center for Environmental Health (CEH) reports that the caramel coloring used in Pepsi contains carcinogens which can cause cancer.  They qualify their statement by stating that the ingredient is a "possible" carcinogen.

Why "possible"?  Perhaps it is because you would have to drink one thousand sodas a day to reach the dosage levels which the CEH administered to show links to cancer.

As Pepsi contains 150 calories per can, you would have to consume 150,000 calories per day of Pepsi to reach these levels.  You would also be consuming 40,000 grams of sugar, and 31,000 milligrams of salt.  Pardon me for putting a damper on these idiots "scientific" study, but it seems to me (and any other rational person), that if you are consuming this much Pepsi, there are going to be myriad other health issues you will face, and cancer is the least of your problems.

By the way, this supposed scientific group is basing its warning on a single study of rats and mice, failing to mention that NO studies show any effect on humans.  Yet, here come the idiotic "the sky is falling" media to report this crap, with ZERO perspective on the actual risks involved, and how ridiculous these kind of studies are.

How about we have some news stories on how extreme some of these so-called watchdog groups like Center for Science in the Public Interest, and CEH are, and how they are conducting studies with a political agenda as the impetus to reach the conclusions they desire!

Have a Coke and a smile.

Environmental group: Cancer-causing agent found in Pepsi products

The Center for Environmental Health has found that the caramel coloring used in Pepsi contains a high level of a probable carcinogen, despite the company's claims that it has removed the chemical.

The Center for Environmental Health said that Pepsi bought from 10 different states contained 4-methylimidazole, or 4-Mel. The compound can form during the cooking process and, as a result, may be found in trace amounts in many foods.

Chicago July 4th Weekend Shootings of Blacks Dwarf Sandy Hook, Media Uninterested

Posted by Brian

I don't celebrate this. It pisses me off. 74 people shot. 12 dead. Since Wednesday! Over 200 killed this year, or more than 1 per day.  Yet the media are virtually silent, concentrating instead on a San Francisco plane crash that killed two people. Perhaps the fact that the vast majority of the Chicago victims are black has something to do with it.

In Newtown, Adam Lanza killed 26 people, including 20 children, and the media goes ballistic.  The media also had a field day with the shootings in Aurora, CO, and at Columbine.  The common theme among those shootings is that the victims were white.

The vast majority of the people dying on the streets of Chicago, Detroit, Washington, DC, and many other gun control meccas is that the victims are black or another minority. Plus, it's not white people killing blacks. It's black on black crime.  This doesn't fit the media for a good story.  Tip for the media: The story is not the race of the people being killed, or who's doing the killing.  It's the horrendous numbers of people being killed as a direct result of strict gun control laws.

Chicago's (and New York's, Washington, DC, etc...) gun control laws, touted by politicians and so-called experts as a blueprint or the rest of the country, prove time and again that they do not make Chicagoan's safer, but actually make people targets for the criminal element who do have guns.

While Obama and the rest of the leftists in this country try to make it harder and harder for law-abiding citizens to get firearms and ammunition for their own protection, those cities where they have been successful with strict gun control laws look like shooting galleries for the criminals.
Meanwhile, in places where concealed carry is lawful, and law abiding citizens are able to own and obtain firearms easily, crime statistics plummet.  It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out the connection.
We as citizens need to start pointing out the hypocrisy, and complicity, of the media in keeping Americans ignorant of the real statistics and deadly results of gun control laws.

PBS: "Discovery" of Global Warming Greatest Scientific Achievement

Posted by Brian
H/T to Real Science

The propaganda arm of the left is in full swing at PBS.  Saying the "discovery" of global warming may be science's greatest achievement, and that we start with the assumption it is real, our excited host spews the party line on man-made climate change.
Greater than the discovery of smallpox and polio vaccines? Greater than Einstein's Theory of Relativity?
Of course we all know that prior to the invention of the automobile global warming and climate change didn't exist.  The Little Ice Age never happened.  The Medieval Warming period was a right-wing conspiracy. And of course, CO2 levels have never been higher, in the entire history of the planet, than they are now.

For thinking people with the ability to think critically, global warming and cooling (also known as climate change) is constant.  It is a cyclical phenomenon that has occurred since Creation, and will continue long after we are gone, To pompous, liberal, bourgeois elites like this guy, history began the day he was born.  Arrogantly, they believe man has the capability to actually change the climate of an entire planet with wind turbines, capturing cow flatulence, installing solar panels, and using paper instead of plastic.
It sounds ridiculous because it is.

WATCH - Iraq Vet Reams Lawmakers, NY SAFE Act : "You Stand on the Bodies of Dead Children" for "Political Expediency"

Posted by Brian

Iraq Vet and law enforcement officer Aaron Weiss got in his two cents worth while addressing the Duchess County Legislature in New York.  Impassioned and visibly moved,  he makes a powerful case for the people's right to keep and bear arms, while illuminating the cowardice of those who would "stand on the bodies of dead children" to ram through legislation for the supposed "public good".

Aaron Weiss is a true patriot, and his words should be spread far and wide.
